Tbh user, you just need to tear it off and douse it repeatedly with Hydrogen Peroxide, and then bandage it up. Change the bandages every couple hours and douse it again, make sure u keep pressure off of it to help advance the healing

ive lost lots of toenails,
depends when did your initial injury occur? months ago? if its quite recent, the new nailbed will be super sensetive.
if its been a few months since u originally fucked up your nail, when you're ready u can peel the nail off sideways, it may hurt abit as you are ripping skin and sometimes it pulls live skin small chance to bleed a bit.

WARM SOAPY WATER!! Use a bowl of warm water with dish soap just let your toe sit in it for a while. Trust me OP that mess will fall right off and the new, healthier nail will start to grow underneath.
