Usually milk. GF left her oatmilk at mine though so I tried making it with that and tasted great and was strangely satisfying having oats cooked in watery oats.
Must admit I've had with protein powder mixed in (after cooking) which is great as is honey, but never tried the other anons suggestion of berries and peanut butter so that's on the list to try.

Full milk turns oats into glue. Full water turns oats into soup.
A good 50/50 mix or close to it (depending on oat type) gives you the best consistency. Personally I find something more like 60/40 water/milk works best.
Daily reminder if you put whey into your oats you are killing the amino acids and might as well just eat cardboard.

You literally need milk or else you won't get enough calcium. Just make sure it's skim milk.
