Used to be a huge dips (both weighted and not) fan. Switched to the planche pushup progression and I'm so much happier.
I still have some fun on the rings with RTO dips though.

With a wider grip (little inside shoulder width) and controlled form, no. Close grip like every retard seems to, yes.
You can damage your sternum doing dips.

I don't know if this is just a troll or if he's actually committing a huge gym faux pas but it's been so long I don't care anymore.
Fuck weighted dips dude, second time doing them and both times they made my shoulders hurt. Made sure my elbows were tucked, controlled my movement on the way down, AND didn’t go past parallel. They are a one way ticket to snap city for sure.
