Do you still do these?

justify this exercise.

they suck

I do the barbell version. Is it true this exercise is bad for you?

yes but only 1RM with the hex bar

It is true.

Just look at it. All that weight bearing down on your elbows is not good. Lower weights can be okay but high weight is risky.

if done wrong, which 90% of people probably do. Keep the shoulders down and back and it's a great exercise

i only see roiders and dyels do these, go figure

How much weight do you recommend? I usually do low weight and never had a problem with this exercise.

while we are at it, do we do lateral raises or do they go into the trash along with rows?

legitimate work out but form is key

That version goes in the trash. Lean forward a bit to hit the medial heads better. Then lean forward a bunch to hit the rear heads.

Do them the Jeff cavaliere way

This, even with light weights you feel the burn

i do muscle cleans instead

What about cable-uppercuts? Like a front lat raise but underhanded? I've been doing these and my shoulders burn but I'm not sure if it's okay for them.

whats the point?

Hmm, do you ever go past mid-thigh?

0 pounds. Pick a real exercise

Do heavy high pulls fag

Unironically the single most important isolation.

I've never done them

I do them seated, is this bad?

Just do facepulls instead.

never.

Don't keep the dumbbells straight, dumbbell upright rows have been REALLY good for my traps.
Also they don't hurt your shoulders.
