did chin-ups for the first time in a long time yesterday, upper chest doms is awesome today thanks

I think you might be doing your chin ups wrong

Reminder that upper chest is important for both punching-power as well as preventing man-tit-shaped pecs.
How do you do chin-ups? Are you squeezing your hands together on the bar or something? Or are they just so hard for you that you're tensing every muscle in your body?

dyels who probably only do bodyweight chins

It's just the way the body works, I can't explain the mechanics (not smart enough to really understand), but long story short - chin-ups work the upper chest and triceps pretty significantly. Not enough to call them a "push" exercise, but still surprisingly high for a "pull."

Compunds/body weight exercises use a lot of muscles that aren't generally talked about when explaining the exercises. Pecs might not be one of the major contributors in a chin up but they're still there.

Nobody talks about biceps during a bench press , but they're still contributing

>only get doms the first time i do a lift.
Its not fun, lads. I'd much rather have normal doms. This shit is leading me down a dark path of exotic oddlifts just to feel like i'm actually working out.

Kek

The absolute worst, abs are a close second

I'm 2 years in and can still get doms, i have lat/upperback doms right now because i did 5 back exercises yesterday all in the 8-12 rep range.

I'm just over one year in.
Last week i started doing pullups seriously, and did around100 reps per workout. Got doms the first day but now i don't get doms from them anymore, despite upping volume.

add weight.

I can only do around 6 reps in one go though. And thats when i'm fresh. Weakshit here
