In retrospect I think MGS1 is the only good Metal Gear Solid game.
It actually felt like a genuine political/spy thriller for about 45 minutes.
The other games are just weebo autism which is fine and all but can be found elsewhere.

the story is pretty boring and inconsistent, it's your typical "save the world from anihilation" final fantasy trope but you chase a villain for 4 discs until it turns out he's not the real villain. plus Kuja looks gay as fuck, one of the worst wannabe-villains in the history of the FF series
