its not "weakness", any human get addicted to something. it shows ignorance if you think you're immune to addictions, yes being in a bad place, such as depression an abusive environment etc can make you vulnerable to addictions but you're not outside the laws of biology just because you think you have a "strong mind". theres also a cultural aspect to addiction as well. in my country a huge portion of the population consumes alcohol 3-5 times a week but no one here would say they are addicted...yet if they dont get their alcohol 3-5 times a week they will feel pretty bad/anxious/depressed.

I like to smoke weed before doing something cardio related, like running or shadow boxing. I find the right weed makes me push myself to run for longer periods than usual. Smoking before lifting however just slows my lifting down, because I end up lost in thought during my rests and then my rests are too long.

I literally stopped smoking about 3 weeks ago and my friend has been trying to get me to smoke again. Whenever I tell him no, he complains about it, makes fun of me for not doing it, and eventually gets mad I'm not doing it. I really don't understand whats going on here but its getting really annoying.

Sleeping with weed in your system inhibits REM sleep though. Kind of a trade off if it potentially helps you get to sleep an hour or two earlier.

I have trouble falling asleep sober as well. A hot shower before bed seems to help, and I always keep the blue light filter on for my phone nowadays, so much better for bedtime.

Been off of weed for almost 4 years (smoked since 2006). Off of alcohol and cigarettes for 2months (April 2019). Off of meth for 1 year and 3 mos (March 8, 2018). All I can say is cigarettes brought me to alcohol, alcohol to weed, weed to meth. Quitting was a tough process but I eventually broke through. I don't go to hardcore parties like before. Being sober, eating healthy, proper sleep + lifting is more helpful than maintaining a vice. Plus it saves a lot of money too.

It was quite hard. I started meth June 2015 with just a 2-3 puffs and im good for the whole day. By April 2016 I was full blown addicted. Shelling about $170-$200 for 3 just days of supply. All I did was puff all day and make glass blown meth pipes in my room while watching a lot of porn. It really fucks you up especially when you've gone tweaker mode, lots of acne. Bad skin from not taking baths bad breath from meth mouth + cigarettes. Also lost a lot of weight from not eating. 135lb@5'8" - 110-115lb.

It was effortless for me. I used to keep an eighth of meth in my drawer and smoke it a few times a week. About two year ago I quit with no problem at all.

I've never worked out while high. But I've done physical activities (swimming, running, etc) and it seems to give me more energy and motivation. I've gotten really high and went for a swim. I did a front crawl sprint for as long as I could and I felt like I could keep going. The cramps didn't stop me.
