I mean you could. But at the end of the day you know for a fact that it was self-inflicted, that badass/intimidation feeling wont truly work because the wound was self-done. I have a few facial scars, mostly burns and a few from fighting when I was younger. Scars add to your character, they are stories manifested physically. You earn your scars and you learn from them. Some scars are associated with negative thoughts while others are self-empowering, for example, one of my scars was from when I was surronded in a housefire when I was a child, I survived. To me, thats pretty fucking cool, has allowed me to keep face in the worst sitautions because I know "i fucking survived engulfing flames as a child".
