Your body needs carbs to function, when you restrict dietary carbs it stresses your body into ketosis where you are basically make your own carbs by breaking down fat and protein into glucose. Your body is not efficient at converting dietary fat and protein into carbs which is why keto is so effective at decreasing your body fat percentage. But ketosis is an emergency backup system. You aren't meant to go keto forever. It comes with a very high long term cost. Foods that are high in fat and animal protein are really hard on your gut and cardiovascular system. You drastically increase your risk of cancer, especially colon cancer, and cardio problems like hypertension, atherosclerosis, heart attack, etc.

If you want to do what you are doing to get to a place you are happy with your appearance you can but you will eventually need to change if you want to also be healthy.
