Of the 6 times you go to the gym per week, 2 times. Do NOT do it on leg day/ same days as squats and lunges etc. Best on a pull day energywise.
I build up to my 1rm, say 5x150 3x150 and 2x180. 3 min pause between sets, you can opt to do 5x 70% after your 1rm, but thats pretty hard to do.

What are your goals? If you're just interested in hypertrophy you'll be fine with 0-2 times a week, if you're interested in improving your deadlift then 2-3 times per week is probably better.

I hex-bar deadlift once per week 3 sets to fail and suitcase deadlift once or twice per week 2 sets to the point of safe form failure, which always happens before I'm actually wiped out to failure.

I do them only my leg/lower days, but today I didn't do suitcase deads and did some weighted lunges to finish off a leg workout because my back didn't feel too great. So this week I'll only deadlift twice.
