What does it mean to make it?

What does "making it" mean? People on this board always say "we're all gonna make it" etc. What does this even mean? I am a new fag sorry. Also should I even count reps or just keep going until my muscles are burning?

From what I’ve seen it boils down to finally being able to be happy with yourself for who you are.

Count your reps. Failure sets aren’t beneficial if you have any sort of training plan going on.

But Zyzz says don't count reps

Making it is a spectrum that starts with trying to make it, making it means perfecting yourself and what you do as much as physically possible, or as comfortably as you can do it
If you try to make it, you're already better than 45-60% of your country

this is what making it looks like

count your reps

Making it means you stop worrying about "making it".

Being able to meet God, aka not going to hell

This guy has got the right idea.

Enjoying life in a way that is sustainable until your death, gives you pride in who you are and what you do and inspires others to imitate you because they too want to live your life.
Aka not doing heavy drugs or drinking/smoking excessively, finding a good, fulfilling job that allows you to live a decent life and not have to worry too much about money, finding a good woman/man you can love(doesn´t have to be perfect, just right for you) and to have children with, doing whatever is it you enjoy in your free time and taking pride in it and generally being an asset to your community and bringing your joy into their lives aswell.
Some use it just for looking good and fucking thots but thats way too shortsighted.

watch this movie then realize you will never find someone who loves you the way they love each other

As long as you post kids cartoons you definitely havent "made it".

Making it means going from being a KHHV loser to having a girlfriend

Making it means improving yourself to the point that women now desire you. That's when you know you've made it.

Escape the existential dread inherent in being of solitary mind, and individual form. Making it means learning to accept what is and recognizing we are not alone in this affliction.

Or, ya know, getting a job, getting in shape, and getting laid.

The very notion that you can "make it" suggests that there is an end to hard work and improvement. If you're only working out to reach a certain end goal, you're no better than those housewives that go on a temporary diet.

Making it means different things for everyone. Generally, it's associated with finally achieving your long term goals.

By that definition you can still be "making it" but you can´t ever have "made it".

anime to "men" is like hollywood to women

This, look at those degenerate subhumans lying naked on the ground offending the polite man that just laughs It off.

Getting rich and playing the piano.

the only reason you side with the "civilized people" is because you too have a very small dick

>not becoming a god
faggots are never gonna make it

"Making it" is essentially achieving one's personal goals. Different for everyone, but we all strive equally for what we each believe to be our individual redemption.

Also set rep ranges for yourself and if it doesn't hurt by the end of the set incrementally increase the weight to something more appropriate (obv a generalization but can be applied to most exercises, in short yes count reps)

Read the sticky buddy.
