Running

I got a decent pair of shoes for cardio (ultraboost). They make a HUGE difference from random shitty $50 runners. But running still hurts the ever living fuck out of my shins after just a few minutes. So I tried using the treadmill at my gym. I guess I'm retarded as fuck because keeping my balance is pretty tricky, I feel like I look like an absolute clown. Oh and my shins still hurt.

So what the fuck? I tried biking for 30 minutes but I could barely get my heart rate over 160, and if I set the tension higher then my leg day lifts go way the fuck down. I just want to do cardio and cut, god damn it.

Are you overweight?

fucking hell I would just absolutely premature ejaculate in her, if you know what i mean

if you zoom in on gif fullscreen and then stand in your room with yoru penis at screen its like she running for u hehehe

A fair bit yeah. 26% BF. Ideally I'd like to drop to 15%. Not looking to powerlift or gain as much mass as fast as possible, just don't want to be a fat fuck. I'm just doing the basic compound lifts dead/squat/bench/ohp.

But I want to lose fat much, much faster than I am. (like 1lb a week so far) I see people fasting and doing intense cardio claiming to lose 10-20 lbs in 4 weeks but like I said, the running hurts the ever living fuck out of my shins and cycling just doesn't feel intense enough.

Do you have access to an elliptical machine? They are much easier on the knees

>But I want to lose fat much, much faster than I am.
Eat less. You're going to ruin your knees.

I do but my gym only has a couple, all of which are usually occupied by middle aged women.

lose the weight, then lose the shoes. run barefoot.

rest and ice and do the elliptical for awhile instead of running. you should also do tibalius anterior exercises (the muscle on the front of your shin). sit down and point your leg out straight and draw the alphabet with your toes. do that twice a day. stretch too (calf stretches especially).

just adding to this that rest is going to be key. if you keep trying to run, your shins are going to keep hurting. sucks because it can be de-motivating in the middle of weight loss but it won't get better without time off.

Id fluff her Garfield, if you know what i mean.

I'd squeeze her breast and go "honk honk" if you know what I mean

>They make a HUGE difference from random shitty $50 runners.
It's not the shoes--it's your shit form.

>I tried biking for 30 minutes but I could barely get my heart rate over 160
And here we have Jow Forums showing yet again about how idiotic they are about cardio. Protip: 80/20--80% of your cardio needs to be in zone 1-2, with 20% in 4-5.

>tfw telling people who finally feel motivated that they need to cut like 30 pounds before they can safely run

>be me
>biggish dick
>hate tight underwear even when jogging
>constant stares
>decide to jog innawood for solidarity
>turns out the woods are where the qts jog

its a rock and a hard place Jow Forums, i can jog in more urban areas near my house and i get stares which is whatever but i feel like im being judged by every woman, or i can drive 30 minutes innawoods where qts are farther between but i start getting hard every time and i still get stares but no one innawoods wants to talk to anyone so the interaction is so much more transient.

Sounds like you are heelstriking. Don’t run on a treadmill. This reinforces bad habits. Instead run on a trail or track. That will be easier on your joints until your form gets better. No back to back running days for you now. Finally, get a pair of brooks adrenaline. They make a world of difference.

>if you know what i mean

I don't, because blue board.

>Didn't even look at body, just looked at face to analyze her facial expressions
Is this what growing old feels like? 25 btw

I’d cum in her lasagne if you know what i mean

Start with hiking or even going on 1-3 hour walks. Your body isn't ready for running.

There are no shortcuts

Do you have access to an elliptical machine? You can get your hr pretty high on that.

Take it from a recently graduated college long sprinter.

Running on treadmills is extremely hard on the anterior of your shins. Particularly your FHL. You Interior could be affected by this because your FHL wraps under your foot and is your main arch support. The FHL also intersects with your Soleus and Flexor Digitorum Longus, which both run on the inside of your shin. An irritated FHL will cause the Digitorum and the soleus to compensate, and this could be the cause of your Shin problems.

As Well, I love my ultraboosts, but they provide little arch, and structure support. Great for tempo workouts, but bad to use every day. I would suggest to you, since you're not a competitive runner, to buy some On cloud running shoes. Get the Cloud Xs. Alternate depending on the workout. Clouds for faster, snappier runs, and the boosts for a leaser jogs and tempo days.

As well, shorten your runs, and avoid the treadmills. Go to a track, and do some repeat workouts. I would suggest something along the line of 5x200m @ 60% effort. minute, maybe minute, to minute and a half break. It will greatly reduce your shin swelling, and you will get a better cardio workout. As well, depending what kind of elastic running shape you're in, it could serve as a great supplementation to resistance training. Could also do a box jump circuit of sorts. both of these workouts will work on your anaerobic threshold.

As for treating your shin problem in the now, google some basic FHL stretches. As well, ensure your hipflexor, knees and back are well warmed up, and loose before running. They may hurt your recovery efforts. Again, avoid treadmills. They produce an unnatural stride, and promote lack of dorsiflexion in the foot. Don't use ellipticals either. Will kill your knees in the long term.
Good luck, you're gonna make it.

my shins hurt at first but i did a little bit each training session. you probably want to eat at a surplus while you make the bone stronger though

remember cardio doesnt especially help you cut and if anything makes you hungrier for carbs than if you hadn't bothered
