just eat
it's not fuckin hard
i do eat, it's just takes time man. I am 112 lbs at 5"11, a long way to go
I was 49 kgs at 1,70cm when I started lifting. I was 15 years old and in 3-4 years I became the strongest guy in the school and received at least a mire a day. Now I'm 19 with 1,80 and I weigh about 80 kgs with 10% bf. I still didn't got a gf but I've had a lot of bitches that made me forget that love bullshit. No one bothers me anymore and I feel good in general. Lifting still has a big place in my life but I do worry more about making money. I'm natty but I've considered to take roidz sometimes, maybe one day I will, who knows.
(I'm not using American bullshit measurement system so fuck off)
>112lb
>5'11
Holy fuck, how can you still be alive?
LMAO imagine thinking like a MGTOW while being only 19 years old
>inb4 boomer
I was 130 at 6'0 at 21y/o - I would go to the gym but just fuck around. I didn't know how to do compound lifts and was too embarrassed to get started.
I want on exchange in University to a foreign country where I knew absolutely nobody in the gym and nobody spoke english and I made it my goal to do compound lifts till I got up to a weight and form I wasn't embarrassed about when I returned home.
I gained 10 pounds, my deadlift went from 95 to 135 and my squat went from the fucking bar to 95. I was still pretty embarrassed but could at least suck it up.
I got home and kept it up, now I'm 23, 155pounds, and 245 deadlift and 195 squat (5x5). Still a long way to go but feeling way better about myself. Still very skinny but at least I am confident when taking my shirt off outside now.
Was 150 at 6'2 now 210. Get way more positive female attention, way less bullshit from other people especially family with the exception of occasional flare ups of massive coping. I had gfs before lifting, though the quality has improved in the post-lifting era. Lastly am way more social, but still fairly autismo
Went up from 110 to 127 in a month bro. Eat 6 medium sized meals a day
>2017
>2019
Went from 143 lbs to 182 lbs, I wouldn't say I got fit by fit standards but gf mires me from time to time
Keep up the good work bro
Respect for posting pics but you need to get your lifting and nutrition dialed in STAT. You could improve as much as you already have in six months
When I was 23 I joined the local Gold's Gym. The sales bro turned out to have the exact same birthday as me. I weighted 108lbs and was 5'8". Seeing sales bro with as much muscle mass or likely even more than my entire body mass was humbling. It took a good six months but I got to where strangers in the mall would give me random compliments on my appearance. Felt good. I was taking classes part-time at the local branch college. I transferred to the main campus and over the next three years lost much of my gains but didn't turn back into a scarecrow. It was nice while it lasted.
Thanks guys, that means a lot, also I forgot to mention, I'm 6'3 so my 143 lbs made me look sinister to people
>tfw 5'9" 135 lbs at 27 years old
ive been emaciated my entire life, caused mainly due to my lifelong horrible depression and misery from social isolation leading to having poor appetite and not caring about eating. anyone got a similar feel?
was 6' and 125lbs in february of 2017 then I quit drinking and smoking. Eating a lot of food I like at the start was a good way to expand my appetite. now I'm at 175 at 15% just keep lifting heavy and you'll get there.
This is a bit over a year of training and lean bulking on kfc and mcdonalds. Started at 5'11 130lbs, now 6' 165. My buddy got me in the gym at the end of the 12th grade and I saw results so I kept going. I never really took it too seriously until after a few months when my oneitis crushed my soul at the prom and I just let it all out in the gym. I may not be big by Jow Forums standards but bitches are mirin and I get instant respect from dudes. Became a sick cunt we're all gonna make it brahs

I'm 28 now @ 175 lbs.
usually eat immediately after lifting and whenever I'm hungry.
I had borderline anorexia, I wasnt diagnosed but I know it-- was hospitalized for a week because of it, and I remember looking in the mirror pulling the loose gown up around my shoulders, spine sticking out of it.
Had enough and decided to work out and force-feed myself.
I had a burger and vitamins every morning for a few months, exercising at high intensity for a few days a week for about an hour; drinking lots of loaded proton shakes helped immensely.
Is there any hope for a framelet? My arms are ridiculously skinny (especially my wrists) and it feels like there's simply no hope to get them bigger.
Nice gains, but are you sucking in your stomach in both pics?
I'm 6ft 137 lbs. 18.6 BMI
I've lost a 15 lbs from my old normal from chronic diarhea and headaches
KFC and McDonald's how?
I don't understand how people say eating is hard.
Yes I suppose eating is easy if your mom cooks everything for you.
But getting 2000 healthy calories a day is extremely time consuming.
It requires hours of shopping, cooking, eating, and cleaning every single day. I don't even know how people manage to get to 2000 calories every day. Most days I only manage to get to like 1200.
Started at 135lbs. Bulked up to 170lbs. Worked out pretty good. I'd like to get my weight up even higher though.
Sure. Just work your arms. No need to over-complicate it.
you should look into some meal prep threads, an hour or two of cooking dense caloric foods for a weeks set of meals, no more shopping each day and shit
sick jojo pose my guy
Nah I just have a small waist and big ribcage. I am tensing my (non visible) abs in the second pic but I'm not sucking in. I can do a mean vaccum even at this bf%
McDonalds: 20 mcnuggets
KFC: 20 Hot wings
Eat this often, obv not my entire diet but probably once or twice a week, along with my weekly burger that I get after piano lessons. It's a good tasty way to get a lot of protein and cals in especially on a heavy workout day. I eat really clean otherwise but I see nothing wrong with fitting some fried chicken in my macros, it's all intuitive.
>140 lbs 6ft in high school
>bulk up to 230 over a period of 10 years
>practically force feeding myself everyday
>realize I’m not really even gaining muscle anymore I’m just getting fatter
>tired of forcefully eating like a pig every day anyways
>stop eating like a pig
>drop down to 190 in about 8 months
Surprisingly I didn’t lose a ton of strength or muscle but it does suck that I’m not as strong as I was at 230. My face looks a lot better at 190 though so that’s a plus.
Roids bro.
i'm 5'11 135 lbs and look like absolute shit
the only thing that has been growing is my belly
Why are you here
Just to suffer
Start lifting
Lol I don't think I need to follow "male feminism" to achieve something
dude how do you have a belly. i'm 5'9" 135 and no semblance of one
you sound like a picky motherfucker
if everything has to be vegan tofu bollocks that you have to import from switzerland then yeah you're making life unnecessarily difficult for yourself, but open your fucking eyes and see the vast amount of caloricaly dense, cheap, ridiculously easy to prepare foods available. I promise you they exist.
like what
Is this bait
I literally ate 40 chicken nuggets a day for lunch EVERY day. That's the only thing that worked. The weight has stuck with me.
6'3 160 pounds to 230 pounds
I was 5'10 47kg when I was 21 (64kg at 22 now, still not great but working on it). Protein shakes with full cream milk is truly a gift from the gods.
I started at about 115 5"8 and am now about 135. Took about 5 months still have a long way to go. Any stories are good inspiration.
Small wrists make big arms look bigger. Anybody can improve themselves with lifting
One of these little cups is 250 calories, can eat it with a spoon in under 30 seconds.
Three of these cups and two glasses of milk is over 1000 calories, takes a couple minutes to consume, and doesn't make you feel like you're gonna burst.
I'm not picky.
I just don't have a woman to make food for me.
That sounds really bad for you.
Gaining weight is one thing. Destroying your body is another.
>eating partially hydrogenated oil with a spoon
They truly do not understand, and what’s more, they don’t want to. Normal people cannot comprehend the concept of how difficult it is for an underweight person to gain weight. The mantra of “just eat more,” while correct, is ignorant of what that could entail for other lifestyles, especially for those who are not accustomed to eating like that. If your predisposition is to have a small appetite (whether genetically or temperamentally) it will take a massive amount of work to retrain the way that you have lived your life for 20+ years in order to begin eating properly. You will feel like passing out after every meal if you don’t ease yourself in. You will vomit if you plunge headfirst into highly caloric diet. You will lose an unforeseen amount of time preparing large meals because you have not ever lived your life this way. This calls for a complete restructuring of your schedule and how you look at food. You CAN do it though, just like you can do anything. And I HAVE done it, but you will have to completely change your life if you want to go from 2000 calories to 3000+ a day. It’s like when somebody tells a suicidal person with clinical depression, “If you want to kill yourself, you have a lease on life! Go out and do anything you could ever dream! Because the worst that could happen is you die, and you wanted that anyway.” But they’re depressed. The problem IS that they don’t desire anything and would rather sleep all day. But a depressed person can build themself out of that quagmire, and so can a skelly. It will just take a great deal of work, and everyone along the way will say in utter bafflement that it is the simplest thing in the world to do.
Not to mention the severe gastrointestinal distress that will suddenly make benign activities like sitting quietly in a classroom suddenly become anxiety-fueled nightmares
It's fully hydrogenated actually.
I was worried at first but no matter how much I search, everything tells me that only partially hydrogenated oils have trans fats, and that fully hydrogenated oils are ok.

he is the patron saint of skinnyfags getting yuge.
Went from 140 pounds to 165 at 188cm. Not even close to what I want to be but made progress
some of you guys talked about your long term gains, but what did your gains per week look like, and how many calories did you go over your TDEE every day to achieve those gains?
>i was almost worried for a second about eating my Frankenstein "peanut butter product" but then I read a few quotes that reinforced my confirmation bias so now I'm OK
Make sure you know what gaining weight means. It means gaining weight through gaining muscle or gaining fat. What body fat % are you? If I were you I wouldn't be too concerned with gaining a bit of body fat until you can get up to maybe 130 to be honest.
You can only gain muscle at a certain max speed. You can't gain 40 pounds in a year of muscle. You could probably get 15-20 if you're training is serious and so is your nutrition. To the people who say they gained 10 pounds in a month, that would be all fat they gained and MAYBE 1 pound of muscle in there. It's literally impossible to gain that much muscle that fast.
Shakes are your friend for sure, and so is food preparation.
The recipe I would use if I were you is this, blend this in a blender.
-1.5 cups of milk
-buy a big thing of oatmeal, and put 300 calories worth in, for me it's 80g
-1 banana
-45g of peanut butter, get the kind with only peanuts/salt in the ingredients, don't get the brands with vegetable oils and added bad fats.
-1 scoop of chocolate or unflavored protein powder.
-ice cubes
-maybe a splash of olive oil or flaxseed oil.
That will be about 1000 calories.
If you're starting to workout, I'd recommend looking up Scooby's beginner/ intermediate workout routines and follow those. And in general lookup Scooby and his videos/website he's really knowledgeable and educated me a lot about nutrition and weightlifting.
Damn when chinks get big they look so fuckin aesthetic
Can you explain why it should be avoided? I want to know this, I've tried researching it myself, but I never really get a clear answer as to whether or not fully hydrogenated oils shouldn't be consumed, and why.
I also keep reading that trans fats aren't even allowed to be used in the US anymore, but, I still see random foods that list trans fats, and I still see foods with partially hydrogenated oils. It's difficult to not be mislead.
how long u been playing piano, user?
6'2" 120lbs
how to gain weight?
i try eating but feel full too quick.
my lowest weight was like 145 at 6'2" and I was still skinny fat.
just lift first and eat later, lifting is the most important thing and it helps drive appetite.
I gained the weight on OMAD, and still use OMAD because it's extremely convenient, but find whatever works for you.
I'm still dyel as fuck but I broke three stalls this week by adding a protein shake to my diet. My recipe is:
>8oz milk
>6oz coffee
>one banana
>two spoonfuls of peanut butter
>1/4 cup rolled oats
>1 tbsp honey (I just eyeball this one)
>2 scoops whey powder
>b l e n d
I drink half with breakfast and half with lunch. It's something like 65g protons and 750cals. Tastes really good, too
Kfc and Mcdonalds user. I just make sure to get lots of cals and portein dense foods in each day. My rule is never go hungry. I been going like this the whole time. It took me a long time to escape skinnyfat mode but I did see a lot of progress week by week. I was gaining at my highest point probably a pound of muscle every 2 weeks so I was seeing some changes. Beginner gains really are steroids man. As long as you eat reasonably and lift heavy you WILL make gains. It's more a matter of patience than effort at the beginning.
2 months so far. Unfortunately I don't have my own piano yet so the only practice I get is at my lessons, best song I can play so far is Layla.
youtube.com
I should also maybe mention that I had two friends who had years of lifting experience basically be my personal trainers the whole time. Nonetheless I feel like anyone can make great changes to their body as long as they get the knowledge and plan beforehand so they can maximize their n00b gains. Being a teenager helps too
He roided so hard his tats switched sides
Just take gear and lift like everyone else you see.
still trying
>be me, 17 y/o 125lbs, 5'11
>went to uni for one year
>ate alot, went up to 145lbs
>stayed there for a couple years
>21 y/o decide to actually diet and lift
>now im 168 and 6'0
>still skinny but not a skelly
unironically you just have to eat more, who woulda fucking knew
Damn. As a 5"7 @ 114lbs guy I don't feel so bad.
Hows it going user? What are you at now?
Jesus christ im a recovering fatass and got your current lifts in a matter of 3 months
Skeles have it hard
I love to eat, I could eat 4000cal a day of good and clean food, but I have a mental block about actually going above my TDEE because I've only ever been able to get fat. I lifted like that for 3 years. Now I got put on TRT I've seen strength and weight gains while maintaining bodyfat or maybe gaining a little but I still have a fear of getting skinnyfat again by eating over maintenance.
Want a few of my pounds? I've got over a hundred to spare!
from 150 lbs "athletic" skelly to 260 lbs Highland Games Competitor with a small belly in 7 years.
The first years are hard, because you need to learn how and what you need to eat and rise your appetite. I drink a big amount of my daily calories, there are a lot of mass shakes.
My typical mass shake:
150-200g oats
2 bananas (or any other fruits)
honey
50g whey
fill up with water/milk
normaly I drink 2-3 shakes during the day in addition to my normal meals. (rice, noodle, meat, fish etc.)
Call me fat, I don't care. I've won several competitions and I love my sport.
not extremly skinny but definitly skinny and i gained about 30lbs. Motivation was to not look like a lanklet despite being tall
You are fat as fuck unless you're 6'4+
yeah, I'm 6'4. forgot to say
how tall are you?
Right here bro. When I was 18 I was 5'11" and 125 lbs. Bulked up to 160 when I was 26 by liftan regularly and eating a lot, but I injured myself a few months ago and I'm down to 150 now.
Seriously?
This just may be the biggest pile of incoherent, beta,"woe is me", subhuman bitchboy bullshit I've ever read in my entire life. It takes one fucking peanut butter sandwich and a single oats+whey shake with 0.5l of milk to get an additional 1500 calories you pathetic whiny permavirgin. It literally takes less than an hour to meal prep ahead for a few days and the aforementioned snacks take a few minutes to make and consume. Stop trying to make yourself a victim and shove more calorie dense food in your mouth, you kiddy diddling goat fucking subhuman twat.
Similar start to you OP. I (Age 17) was 117lb at 6’0 before I started lifting. Now I’m hovering in the 180s at 6’2 (Age 19), heaviest I’ve been was 193lb. My strength has gone way up and am now the strongest guy from my year in high school. All you have to do is eat properly, although for you I’d just focus on calories, and not just lift but structure your lifting properly.
I was 6'6" and 145lbs at one point. Now I'm about 170lbs. Progress is slow, but it's moving. The key for me was to drink my calories. A scoop of mass gainer in the morning and two more scoops in the evening. And lift of course.
Not OP but gonna buy peanut butter today.
Doesn't matter what kind?
Gonna buy the cheapest one I see and slap it on some whole wheat bread if that's case.
Harder than not eating
How much fat have you guys gained?
I'm sure I've gained a lot, but it's not any more noticeable than it was before. I was always skinnyfat, like the worms from MIB. Now I'm still the same, maybe even a bit slimmer in the belly, but just larger in general.
I like to poop bros
6'0" started at 145lbs. Currently at 180lbs.
I'm 6ft at 260lbs, fuck I wanna be 145 right now and bulk the fuck up from there.
Was originally in the 200s but had a bad relationship wtih food. So know it's possible, just take better care of yourself and not have ppl ask whether you're in treatment for cancer or not.
Genuinely great progress. What did you do, bulk and cut or lift at maint or lean bulk on a small surplus?
What was the timeframe?
The lightest I remember myself being was about 44kg/98lbs at 5’6, and this was several months *after* I had already started lifting and making an effort to bulk up.
Struggled for years but then it suddenly became easier, have no problem eating enough now.
Now at about 69kg and a wilks of about threefiddy
Thanks desu. I switched between cutting and bulking for several months on end.
My routine was body split program where I'd rotate between lifting heavy/lower reps and then vice versa every 3 months.
3 years
left pic: 187cm 61 kg (6'1 135lbs)
right pic: 187cm 85kg (6'1 187lbs)
~2.5 years between the two
i was skinny because i used to train swimming and eat not enough. right now on PPL and 4500kcal a day.
I consider myself a dyel, but i do get complements about my physique (from normies), mostly about having wide back. I am more confident, and i am slowly starting to like the way i look.
keep going
pic related is my 2 year transformation. i was skelly mode. literally just workout consistently and make a conscious effort to eat more. my diet is still shit but its good enough.
Was 5'8 135lb at 18
Got up to 145lb at 21 just doing calisthenics and some dumbbell stuff at home for arms.
Got in the gym at 23 and jumped up to 165 within 1 year of serious lifting and eating big
