..when pic related is literally correct.
Why do yall waste so much money on a gym memebership
>Varied chin ups and press ups
What did he mean by this? Different ROM, weight patterns etc?
Nevermind just finished reading; I assumed the rest would be psychiatric bullshit but its nice and informative
What about warm up?
Stupid unscientific shit.
>running, chin ups, and push ups are unscientific
Sick meme!
*tips fedora*
rowing fags need to stay contained in the erg thread
t. rowing fag
lmao beyond retarded. go do push ups and run for a year and show us your "hugely strong'' body at the end of it
his training "methods" are not optimal though. of course you will make progress as with everything you do often enough, its just not the best way
you can read actual studies on muscle activation in various exercises and its relation to strength and muscle growth
also doing only 2 types of exercises will lead to muscle isproportions in many people that can lead to injuries
bet this faggot can't stone to shoulder more than 90kg max
How far has science and reading about optimal training gotten you?
bet you can't run for more than half a mile before fainting like a little queer
>lifting is only about looking good
I'd rather be fat and able to bench press a car than be lean and have a 10% larger dating pool
Notice he never posted body? It's because he's either skinnyfat, or ottermode at best.
All these Olympic level athletes do strength training with free weights. People love to post pictures of the gymnasts, the wrestlers, the swimmers, etc. They all fucking lift weights. The track cyclists with the huge fucking legs? They do high volume squats and leg presses. Usain Bolt? Lifts weights. Michael Phelps? Lifted weights for an hour every day.
If you want look like the progress pics from r/bodyweightfitness, then go ahead and do what OP recommends.
yeah dude, all the runners have huge legs!
usain bolt benched 140 kg on his prime
asafa 130 kg
yohan blake was the stronger of them
i remember this anecdote of blake puting briliantine on bolts creatine
>t.a person who knew them
Sources: dude trust me
>post rower that works out in the gym to build strength to transate over to their sport.
>hur-dur just do a sport
What if I enjoy lifting weights? Lol
What a dumb thread
I'm not saying any of it is wrong, I didn't even read most of it
But what if I want to be bigger than just your average lean dude
Weight training is fun as fuck
that will get you in pretty good shape, but OHP is much better than pushups and squats are better than running for strength
>run on your toes
opinion discarded
After the first two greentext lines I stopped reading. Guaranteed to be broscience trite. The dude in the pic isn't even that big.
