Solitary fitness

I'm going to be sent to a mental ward soon so i wont have free weights or machines;what benefits can I expect from a bodyweight workouts for a couple of months?
i probably can do pull ups with a door or door frame and use a chair for dips.
with a wall i can do handstand pushups.
is it enough to change my body? I'll have 16 hours of free time daily so ican train for many hous.

so far i can do 20 pull ups and 500 push ups a day and noticed results.
in the loony bin ill have to do much more than that to kill time.
anybody here done cocoon mode or something?
did your muscles grow noticeably?

usually "loony bins" do have access to some rudimentary workout equipment

sadly(?) not here,i will have a bag to fill with water at most.
i have a leather belt i can use for isometrics

Yeah, you can do a lot with bodyweight stuff. Just change angles to increase intensity.

>being allowed to have anything you can kill yourself with

what a weird larp. whats your angle, OP?

you mean changing the positions of the hand when pushups and so on?
im not 100% sure ill go to the looney bin, ill request it but i need my parents to agree with t

depends
if you were a good boy you were allowed the freedom to use the gym, your first 2 weeks and at any point you could be considered a threat of any kind it's a privilege you lose

mental wards aren't like you see in the movies.
you're allowed to wear your own clothes and keep personal items for the most part, even people I saw on suicide watch were allowed to wear their own clothes, they just had to have someone watch them literally every second of the day (even when they were sleeping)

You cant have belts/strings/laces in loony bins

ok but most people were wearing laced shoes, myself included
i didn't bring any belts with me so I can't confirm or deny that but i doubt they would take them, maybe we're thinking of different levels of wards, OP requested to be admitted so it's going to be a lower level ward

Did you know that Solitary Fitness is the name of the book written by Charles Bronson, the British prisoner? The guy who only works out doing hundreds of bodyweight exercises a day? Just read that book.

Fight other inmates. You have nothing to lose anyway.

i was in a state run mental institution for a week and nobody had laces or belts

Tricep dips
Burpees
Planks

yes, i read it, and I liked it.
maybe ill be a tiny bronson by the time i escape the loony bin

u cn get that fght club body

are burpess just cardio?

well, its what girls crave so i wont complain

Convict conditioning.

If they allow you to have a phone, you can use the app

Nah man set your goals higher. Aim to be a Michael Myers so you can end up like Bronson
