Are ultra-mega-onions boy puss puss 8lbs weights worth bothering with as an absolute beginner? I can only do about 3-4 push ups

Been doing pretty good, lost 17 lbs in just under five weeks. 1lbs lean, 3 lbs water, 13 lbs fat, at least according to my home scale. Doing a Dexascan next week to get an idea of how far off my scale is.
Walking through Wal-Mart today I accidentally noticed myself in a full length mirror. I'm still a fatty. No way around that. Instead of making me sad, it gave me motivation to keep going on. I don't want to be a fatty. I'm on a good path to not being one, but knowing that I still have another 30 lbs to go motivates me.

i’ve been doing OMAD, went on vacation today with my gfs family. stayed strong and haven’t eaten at all, skipped brunch, just drank water while they all ate. going to dinner in a couple hours, looking forward to it. i’ll be on vacation for the entire week, hopefully i can keep it up

Unprocessed food is probably even less accurate. There's no way to know exactly how much protein, fat, and water weight are in a piece of meat.

Went to Italy, everything's so fucking carb heavy that I only ate one meal a day, ended up losing three pounds while I was over there so that was nice.

Where does the fat even go from first?

Fuck if I know, all my fat is congregated in my thighs/stomach area, there's not a fucking gram of fat on my arms, chest, or calves. At least I haven't hit a plateau yet, seeing a lower number on the scale every morning is the only thing keeping me going since the mirror isn't giving me good results.

Is it possible to lose weight without working out? I don't really care about being muscular, I just want to avoid becoming obese like my dad. I'm in college now and I unironically gained the "freshman 15" because of eating so much junk food. The thing is, I really don't mind fruits, vegies, and the like, I only eat so much junk food because its faster, more convenient, and I can prepare it without an actual kitchen. But in one month, I'm going to be moving into a house with some friends and I'll have access to an actual kitchen again. Is it possible to lose weight purely by replacing all the convenience store snacks I eat with food I cook? And if so, does anyone have advice how to do it? What kind of stuff should I learn to cook? Has anyone else lost weight without working out? I honestly hate going to the gym, I just want to go from 150lb back to 135 lb

almost 7 months now i've been seriously dieting and exercising, avoided gainz goblins at work, and managed not to binge eat during family gatherings. i've lost 60 pounds so far and gained a tiny bit of muscle. but i was at the store today and something just snapped and i lost all the self control and discipline i'd built up. i bought a huge bag of puffy cheetos, a box of cookies, some ben and jerrys, and a 12 pack of soda. i chugged 2 sodas as soon as i got home and have been nonstop snacking since. i haven't eaten like this since i was at my fattest last year.

If your uni has a gym. You're paying for it. That ~$400-500 activity fee? These "chads" you speak of are using it to lift weights and play basketball in the rec center and you're paying for it. Often times you are required to pay as part of tuition. So you know, it's a great way to interact with others too. No one's saying you have to be a beefcake but Christ how hard would it be to eat healthy and run the track and occasionally use the equipment?

Lads, I am at my wits end here. I started working out and went on a diet about 2.5-3 months ago. I went from 87.5 kg to now 73.5 kg. But I just can't seem to be able to get rid of these last few kilos...even though I am certain I am on a calorie deficit.. been stuck on73.5-74 kilos for more than 2 weeks now. At 5'8, you could be 5% body fat and 168 lbs at your genetic potential of muscle mass.

You would look like shit if you just get skinnier if your a male.

Face fat is one of the last things to go. You need to just lose fat in general and try to get to 10% bf.

You cannot workout fat away. You need to stop eating like a pig.

I'm Wewlad guy. I'm 5ft 8, I'm not a turbofat anymore but I could definitely cut more until my gut goes. Back when I was fatter I thought hitting 25 BMI (~76kg) would be good but I was still fat as fuck when I hit so I continued cutting.

I'm probably under 20% bf now and I've been lifting for a few months. I think you could weigh considerably less than what I am at my height and have a higher bf %.

Probably just need to cut maybe 6kg or so just to get my bodyfat below 15%, then I can go on a lean bulk.

208lbs today! And after today I’ll be able to eat maintenance for a week. As I’ve said in previous posts I don’t recommend doing this but shit I’m getting good results. Really looking forward to starting my first test cycle when the time comes. So now I just need to cut enough to be at/under 200lbs and then lift and cut 1lb/week for another few months, I should be at around 180lbs at that point and then I’ll be able to start gearing.
