roll in pushup thread if under 30 do double

30 dips
30 pull-ups

Congratulations you did a set

you can't do 30 push ups

if your lips don't touch the floor, I count 0 reps. I am sorry but I am just tired of dyels telling me they can do an X amount of push ups, when in reality they can do 0

Do diamond pushups or another variation.

I have never done a real push up in my entire life.

Thanks

Get to 50, then start doing dips

Look up Dominik Skye on YouTube. The dude has killer progressions that make push-ups look like a joke.

50 pushups

work up to 50 then start on progressing to one-handed push-ups.

this, diamonds will help developer your upper pecs for that sexy tit gap

>Dominik Sky
>progressions
His jumps in difficulty are insane, and he assumes you have the flexibility of an olympic athlete.
I can't bend down and touch my toes, and I absolutely can't do that while sitting, and doing hanging leg raises like that is out of the question. My hip flexibility is fucked because I spent 19 years of my life barely moving.

If you're too much of a retard to come up with ways to increase the difficulty of push-ups on your own, you probably shouldn't even be doing calisthenics.

Do 31 haha

do 31

fucking pushup nazis i swear, yes i can do this but its fucking stupid

I can guarantee you that you're doing them wrong.
Your chest and nose is supposed to touch the floor with each rep.
is correct.

Who the fuck can't do 30 push-ups?

My arm is broken. I can't do any atm :D

Honestly it depends on what your goal is with push ups.

If you want to build more muscle through push ups just add weight to it.

If you want to use it as a accessory work for other push exercises try different variants like Pyke pushups, incline, diamond etc.

if you are going for hypertrophy just do more till failure

start doing 10 weighted pushups

Don't blame him for your miserable and pathetic body.
You are never going to make it and that's a good thing because you are a stupid asshole.

dominik you need to calm down

Incline pushups

31

I'm not Dominik but even if i was him that wouldn't matter because healthy men are able to do such things. You are just an unhealthy fuck and it's not my fault if you can't follow my programs

I think I'm too old to do the stuff Dominik does. I will work towards 50 and then go to handstand pushups.

>more than 12 pushups
>hypertrophy
if you've got a lot of time to wait for muscle to build then go ahead

Find yourself a routine that uses progressions to add more resistance to bodyweight training, rather than falling for the high rep meme. I recommend this:

If you're asking this you're probably doing them with terrible form and fucking up your shoulders.

>I can't bend down and touch my toes
>My hip flexibility is fucked because I spent 19 years of my life barely moving.

Dood. Your body can do shit you never dreamed you would be able to do but it won't because you've got this crap female mindset.

You might be right about jumps in difficulty: I've never watched this guy before but I think most people writing calisthenics progressions are guys that got fucking jacked lifting and roiding and then try and then try to work out progressions as someone that can easily do everything.

I can bench more than my bodyweight but can't do 30 pushups unless I do them like my life depends on it.

I obese (99kg at 182cm) dyel who spent most of my life sitting with pc. And I'm easily can touch my toes.

I thought you were supposed to raise your chin so your nose does not limit the ROM?

Correct

The reps should be slow

You're not supposed to lick the floor. As long as the chest touches the floor and you protract shoulders at the top I count a rep.
If you say that then you're probably doing them wrong user.

>If you say that then you're probably doing them wrong user.
Why?

Fill a bag with books and train until you can do 30 again

Pushup ladders

youtube.com/watch?v=DxAJ3D9JhQs

Make sure your nipples hit the floor every rep.

35 pushups.

Is there even any point doing more than 10?

Anything up to ~40-50 reps produces gains

This is objectively incorrect

Because if you really can do 30 solid reps (chest touches the floor/shoulder protraction at the top and arms extended/no sagging/elbows in/slow down explosive yet controlled up) you would be already experienced enough not to ask this question.
There's a lot of people who say: I can do x number of push-ups, and then they start flopping on the floor like fish out of water. And once you give them pointers to correct they form they can't do 10 solid reps.

fucking pussy
