Eat carbs

>eat carbs
>pass out
I thought they were supposed to give you energy?

They give you energy the next day.

you just have shitty genetics

Simple sugars give you energy is an excuse for people to eat nutritionally devoid garbage. You're insulin sensitive because you don't constantly pound your system with sugar. This is good. I also get sugar crashes after eating simple sugars so, it gives me a strong negative association with them so I eat them even more infrequently. You're gonna make it, OP.

would fuck that croissant

Post genetics

insulin spike to clear blood of glucose
more insulin is produced than is required
glucose drops low when body is done digesting causing you to feel tired
and this isn't even getting into antinutrients and bioavailability
carbs are a meme. only use they have is restoring muscle glycogen, which can be done without them anyways.

>carbs are a meme. only use they have is restoring muscle glycogen, which can be done without them anyways.
>only use
another use is not looking like an autist in public due to your spergy diet of avoiding tasty food lol

Better be an "autist" than a land whale

>he's so insecure he can't defend his ideology
ngmi

>another use is not looking like an autist
There are like 100 other ways I look like an autist, so doesn't matter

Based poster of veracity. If you get the sleepy downers after consuming carbs your body does not like/want/need that shit.

>carbs turn everybody into a fat ass

Attached: 00897.gif (245x285, 919K)

Tell me those 100 ways sir, I want to know how to look like an autist in public

I've never seen a fatass on a carnivore/zero carb diet

you've also never seen a healthy person on a carnivore/zero carb diet

explain Shawn Baker.

Eskimos get by fine

The pre-diabetic guy with the test of a 100 year old Vietnamese woman?

~complex carbs~ make me fall asleep too

The thread turns into two extremists stating the opposing opinion instead of a discussion on insulin resistance like I though it would be. Is this all Jow Forums is now? I can hardly find any useful information anymore let alone share anything I found helpful without some contrarian telling me I'm wrong because they heard a Youtuber who misheard from a friend of a friend.

What about this guy?

the guy with type 2 diabetes and the testosterone levels of a 100 year old man? wow. his voice is fucked too, it sounds like hes a bird that swallows rocks to help with digestion.

they die early from heart disease so no, they dont get by "fine".

this only happened after they adopted western foods.

Honk Kong has the highest meat consuption on the planet, to the point of gettings ((((UN)))) attention, they also have the highest life expectancy

>epic of gilgamesh
>eat Enkidu, bread is the stuff of life
>4000 years later insulin-resistant amerifats get sleepy any time they eat anything
>proceed to blame bread and carbs
protip: your either overeating or have poor insulin sensitivity
carbs are always inversely correlated with cortisol in dietary studies and there are plenty of reasons you want cortisol low

They actually have no incidence of cardiovascular plaque buildup despite having high blood serum levels of cholesterol when on a traditional diet. It's pretty remarkable shit actually.

They more die early because of a bunch of other bullshit. Western diets, poor healthcare, dangerous living conditions, poverty, ect.

>trusting C*nadians
it was drugged retard

Bart Kay, Frank tufano, these are the most known ones

You've been lied too about everything mate

Can you explain this graphic and also explain what exactly I've been lied to about. Also can you provide a source for this graphic?

You've been lied about high "cholesterol" being a marker for heart disease

Attached: images.png (795x385, 40K)

do they mention anything about statins? these people could have other issues which elevated cholesterol and their doctor put them on statins without fixing any other behaviors

Ok, cool, thanks for the input. I actually ended up reading through a lot of studies recently where the premise was that LDL was bad but apparently after looking into it in more detail you seem to be right and that that on it's own isn't a big issue. It's specifically when LDL is high and HDL is low when it looks like risk factors start to compound.

Does that sound accurate from what you've seen, or do you think I'm still misunderstanding it?

to be fair american bread, especially the super processed stuff, is basically candy, Ive heard europoors go endlessly on about how shit and sweet our bread is and always chocked it up to "rent free" complaining. then I took a trip with my family one year to germany and they were right. when I first got their I though their bread was dry and bland, but after a while I got used to it, especially since they complimented it with so many different dishes. when I got back though I could barely stomach the bread we had, it tasted so sweet and left me feeling kinda mucky after eating alot of it.

have u tried just b'ing urself lol

This

Yes, it doesn't work

your carbohydrate metabolism is fucked.

IOW: pre-diabetes

> Approximately 84 million American adults—more than 1 out of 3—have prediabetes. Of those with prediabetes, 90% don't know they have it

P.S the "energy" is supplied to your brain, organs and muscles to keep them functioning moron, carbs arent STIMULANTS which is what you equate with "energy". Replace the word "energy" with "fuel" and maybe you'll have a better conception.

Poor insulin sensitivity. Unless you eat a whole load of crap, you're not suppose to feel tired/sleepy after a meal.

welp i was worried i was diabetic.
been on a hard cut for a few weeks, big cheats at retard intervals, did 1 day dry fasting woke up the next day after a light walk and ate 1 full bag of miss vickies, 500grams of storemade macaroni salad, 2 mini pitas with hummus and at least 6 sushi rolls.
passed out hard and woke up 3 hours late to work
my favourite cheat is this
>sadly slowly declining in quality
korean bbq place near my job and gym, $30 Canadian to pig out without getting up from the table, I go hard on the meats even weird shit like ox tongue but also get sushi and ice cream n shit by the end
>pic is me taken minutes ago, im crunching my abs to make them pop 6'2 around 150lbs shooting below 145

Cut the carbs for a while and see what happens, then slowly reintroduce them, but good quality carbs, not processed crap that will spike your insulin.

literally and equivocally the fucking opposite of what you say is true you dumb fuck
simple carbs improve insulin sensitivity, the less used you are to eating sugar the more insulin resistant you are, this is literally what you find in animals that don't eat sugar regularly, their insulin sensitivity is garbage
same thing is true for people who eat very low carb ketogenic diets.

except high ch olesterol is a marker for heart disease in all mammals including tigers and lions and dogs and cats lmao, you're such a retard
cholesterol can vary as much as 200 fucking points in a matter of a few days, and it also goes down with age and sickness and parasite infection, it is not representative of ACTUAL health in the here and now when the blood is looked a t.

The power of no fap

Highest life expectancy is in rural Island in Japan though, no?

t. Retard

>for ages people in my country have been working, eating lunch, taking a nap, then working until sunset
>le u aren't supposed to be feeling sleepy after eating
Maybe with your americlap diet full of artificial stimulants which literally make you high and die of heart failure.

it is. the carnitards and ketotards have taken over this board. they cant interpret data properly. cholesterol is the best marker for heart disease.

Croissants are low in carbohydrates and high in fat

Dumb fuck

you're the retard, stop spreading misinformation about shit you have no clue about

check the insulin sensitivity of people on very low carb diets, it's absolutely garbage and the reason why ketogenic diets cannot and never will fix insulin resistance or T2 diabetes, even low carb shills admit this that keto cannot reverse T2 diabetes it can only be used to treat the symptoms, by completely avoiding any sort of carbs lmao

this insulin resistance induced by a lack of dietary carbs is a metabolic adaptation that is benefitial to mammals it prevents their blood sugar from dropping too low when the only glucose they get is derived from amino acids and specific fat substrates, if you weren't low IQ you would understand.
tldr: insulin resistance is benefitial in some scenarios, but avoiding sugar does not get rid of it if that's your actual goal, people who feast on sugar all day have superior insulin sensitivity to people with similar genetics and body who just happen to not eat sugar.

what meat do they eat
how lean is it
for how long have they been the highest meat consuming nation?
how long does heart disease take to develop?
that's all
