Or the example of the Hittites where liberal scholars believed Scripture either made up or anachronized the Hittites because of when the patriarchs mentioned them (and using it as an example of the untrustworthiness of Scripture) - until they began discovering corroborating Hittite references/relics which verified Biblical accounts as is.

You may have also forgotten that Christianity is unique in that it is the only religion that is based on Grace, not works. That is, all other religions you must do things or act a certain way to please God of earn a salvation (5 Pillars, 8 Fold path, Karma/reincarnation/Nirvana). Christianity teaches that it is impossible for you to ever please God because of your inherent sinful nature, therefore God did all the work for you, and you merely have to humbly accept the substitution of His Son as being the sacrificial requirement for the payment of your sons.
