You losers are more pathetic then the fat fuck in ops pic lol
It’s literally impossible to not eat like a pig, incel
That's actually true but the studies are conducted on the general population unmonitored. A minority actually stick to the programs/diets while they're nominally on them or do them long term.
None of the studies I'm aware of focus on people doing anaerobic training while cutting which is what people should do if they want to cut.
It’s only true because people diet for a month max and go back to eating like a slob.
>A minority actually stick to the programs/diets while they're nominally on them or do them long term.
The HAES argument here would go something like "yes, but sticking to those programs or diets is hard and trying to do it clearly isn't working for the majority of obese people".
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
This is the particular study that's often mentioned here.
>Previous studies have reported that the majority of obese individuals would like to lose weight and that a large proportion is actively attempting to reduce their weight,25,26 so a relatively high level of intentionality among obese participants may be assumed.
>Additionally, monitoring BMI among obese patients in primary care has been shown to predict treatment positively.27 Patients in this study were required to have a minimum of 3 BMI measurements recorded, suggesting that an inflated proportion of patients in this sample may have been involved in and interested in weight management interventions.
They do want to lose weight but can't, because it takes discipline and effort.
>However, in the absence of effective interventions targeted at the individual level, the greatest opportunity for tackling the current obesity epidemic may be found outside primary care.
This is a reworded version of "we doctors can't make fatties stick to their diets by complaining at them. Someone else should do something about it, probably by making it less normal to eat 60 teaspoons of added sugar a day"
the human body is a machine, and excess energy consumed is stored as fat.
A diet that reduces caloric intake will reduce fat, especially if combined with exercise, which increases the total energy consumption of this machine.
People who begin restricting their diet will always lose weight, however often stress or simply habit developed over a lifetime will cause deviation from said diet.
It is very difficult to break away from the diet one has been consuming for their entire life and permanently alter it. However, there have been countless cases of individuals motivated by health or societal concerns that lost weight and remained healthy for their entire life.
BMI is only flawed for individuals with very high muscle mass. Waist circumference is only flawed for individuals with very abnormal bone structure.
Our company should not discriminate based upon bodyfat or look down on those who chose to live a lifestyle conducive to being overweight as they have the right to live that sort of lifestyle. However, to deny employees that wish to live a healthier lifestyle the option to assess themselves due to the feelings of this employee would ultimately deprive many of the opportunity to live a healthier life to spare the feelings of one.
There, did my best
Have sex
Is this healthy at every size push the biggest gas-lighting campaign in history? I swear it's gotta be either this or the holohoax.
