what makes this guy so appealing to dyels and zoomers?
What makes this guy so appealing to dyels and zoomers?
Post body
He sprinkles in bullshit "science" blather into his videos, making them think that they're imbibing the real deal.
It's not a huge mystery. Younger generations are hyper-obsessed with authenticity, and for some reason they think this guy has it.
I dont believe he's almost 200lbs at 5'6 that lean.
Yeah your t nation broscience is the real deal
Nobody on youtube is the real deal. Don't jump to dumb conclusions.
He's 5'10 at like 165 or something
Because.. He knows what he is talking about, fit just hates everything popular.
That thumbnail is a joke btw, not his real stats.
He's a physical therapist, not an MD or a researcher. Almost none of his videos have any actual source supporti his claims
Jow Forums is retarded, the guy is the real deal and has the body to prove it
Yeah some of his YT titles are click baity but the science is still real and he gives legit advice about not fucking up your shoulders
>Hey guys I've been lifting for 6 months and bench 1.5pl8. believe me his videos are the real deal
Imagine being this retarded
You clearly don’t do your facepulls, nigger. I can smell your internally rotated shoulders from here. FACEPULL GANG RISE UP
Nobody selling anything is the real deal.
Imagine being a dyel and posting on this board as if youre some authority
His videos are free lmao
>thinking a medical doctor knows jackshit about lifting or fitness
Maybe if they do a sports medicine rotation. A physical therapist literally specializes in the locomotion of the human body.
>A physical therapist literally specializes in the locomotion of the human body
A lot of buzzwords with zero peer-reviewed literature
Yeah, imagine that.
I warm up with your 1RM bud. Back to
>peer review
>buzzwords
Oh so you don't know what you're talking about, thanks for letting me know.
Riveting tale, chap.
requesting "more facepulls, your highness"
Who to trust:
>Someone who works with training actual atheletes
or
>Some whitecoat scientist who knows the p values for the size of his own dick
or
>Some roided monster who probably will die within the next 5 years
No, those things are cr*nge and gay
>gets genetically high responders to respond to his subpar programs
really jogs the noggin
The scientist. They're all selling a product, but his product is his research.
I’ll take D, an illiterate meathead who wrote a best seller and is friends with a roided tranny because he makes me laugh.
Looks like some people here are in need of some discipline
Post your fucking body faggot
I mean, he hasn’t been wrong about anything so far.
The fucking guy is literally the pinnacle of human fitness. It's just retarded fucks who think anyone or anything that is popular must be bad that think he isn't.
>hurr durr he's just a physical therapist that literally trains professional athletes
Imagine thinking some stupid fuck that posts on fucking Jow Forums knows more than this guy
Daily reminder to do your facepulls.
behind the neck press and upright rows are fine movements. the only thing wrong with them is that they shouldn't be performed by beginners or those with poor shoulder mobility.
>fit just
actual reason
Jeff is notable for releasing 1,000+ videos online with information and full workout routines.
The programs are just there if you're a scatterbrain, and the substances are exclusively what he takes and gives to the people he personally trains.
He explicitly states in a video about supplementation to not take anything, even his stuff, if you're specifically trying to lose weight and build lean muscle.
Maybe he's using reverse psychology?
Been playing the long game at that.
Maybe he's just a nice dude. Athlean-X seems more like a hobby than his day job.
>MD
>Researcher
>big guy
Post body.
He knows what he's talking about.
mike's only flaw is that he's unaesthetic. he is the absolute king of manlets though
Lifting for
>THIS
Its like Jason Blaha says: he is a damn good physical therapist, but not a strength coach. What he cares about is bodyfat% and not getting hurt. His squat is laughable.
>I look like shit, cant run up a flight of stairs, and will be in a wheelchair at 50
>but man my squat is good
You're misinformed. Fix your form and you'll have better knees that most until you die from natural causes. To squat does not mean you can't do cardio.
No idea who that is, but that's fucking sad.
jeff “da real deal” CAVALIERE has ENGINEERED the perfect system of developing INSANE gains and i will NOT tolerate any shit talk from these faker HATERS who are just jealous of his washboard abs. my shoulders have never been healthier and ts ALL thanks to JEFFS help. Im going to go browse through his extensive collection of useful, awesome videos, fuck you guys.
Mike Israeltel, PhD Sports Physiology. Him and some other guys are behind Renaissance periodization
I don’t see a problem with borrowing exercises from him. I don’t watch his videos religiously but if I’m like “huh, I need something to target lower chest” and find his video I don’t question.
>t. DYEL proud of his 2pl8 bench
bait
He's not on any gear as well. Well in his previous years, he did his masters in physical therapy so he most likely did learn to diseminate primary sourxes. I wouldnt be shocked if he's on TRT now since he's close to 45. He's good for natural weight lifters, but for someone on gear it might be better to go to someone else.
Take this as a grain of salt as I'm not the biggest go on Jow Forums.
>locomotion of the human body
Kinesiology, you're trying to say kinesiology. No, they don't, they specialize in providing exercises to ameliorate somatic issues within the body. A physician will go through a more rigorous anatomy and biochemistry regimen compared to physical therapists.
Source: Medical student that TAs for PT students in anatomy
His routines are questionable, but his physical therapy videos are a godsend.
I'd take someone who is the combination of the first two, like Eric Helms. Read his book.
He looks great for his age, his videos are well made and about perfect length, his video descriptions include some decent transcript, he has a ton of content for free.
Also I am not dyel or a zoomer. I'm a 31 year old Boomer who went hard for years (wrestling, weightlifting, football, MTB, drunken shenanigans) then got engaged and fell out of shape and am now back into it hard and want to avoid permanent/collective/debilitating
injuries.
The only criticism I have is the clickbait, but Jeff is a professional and that's what works on YT.
Most of his advice is correct and works with little shilling beyond his programs, no fucking BCAA/Pre-Workout/memeshittery, no pretense about what his videos are really about and no real egofagging that so many other e-celebs are prone to.
I could give less of a fuck about his explanations as to why it works and generally jump through his videos to get to the relevant bits.
The fucks up with his core and arms?
The imbalance between those and his legs/upper body makes him look like a dwarf moreso than his height does.
>Don't do these exercises, do this!
>1 week later
>Don't do that exercise, do this!
I mean Jeff has the knowledge and the fact that he provides it for free is great, but he's literally just doing it for the jewtube money
Give one example where he does that.
5'6 196? that lean?
his FFMI would be over 29 if that was actually true
