Going to Southern India for missionary work, how do I maintain my gains while living off of local unhealthy cuisine and no access to a gym?

You seriously don't live in a country that needs your help ?

Well I suppose you can do bodyweight exercises and there are plenty of routines for that but the best routine is not going to southern india

I dont advise missionary. You'll avoid the locals breath better if you stick to doggy.

Going to Thiruvanaamalai which is in the middle of nowhere man. Plus our hosts can't afford to provide a lot of food in general, especially meat.

Is local cuisine even that unhealthy? I would imagine you can afford a good amount of meat, fish and eggs there, and having rice and vegetables really isn’t unhealthy either. Just avoid fast food and excessive sweets, and third world food is usually pretty healthy, you will probably lose weight as well.
See if you can find a gym, should be easy enough if you’re in a city. If you are in the country side find some place to do pull ups from, and ideally dips as well. Take a belt for attaching weighs with you, and simply put some rocks in a bag for weighted pull ups and dips. Some overhead pressing with makeshift weight, face pulls with resistance bands you can buy ahead of time and your upper body should be good. If you live in the middle of nowhere you should be doing plenty of walking up hills, cycling etc for legs anyways, if not do some weighted pistol squats and bulgarian split squats, lunges and hamstring raises too

would literally kms if i was the hornlet on the left, christ there's no recovering from this

Ask your god

Indian food is notoriously low-protein, high-carb.
Bring whey powder to keep your protein up and do lots of cardio so you don't get fat.

Get some resistance bands. They only weigh a few pounds but if you buy a few sets you can get 300 pounds of resistance. Do lots of bodyweight work too.

ok that a little more specific but if they do farm word and arent dead then itll be enough to feed you as well. if youre a moron who fell for the bulking meme then doing farmwork, the climate and not counting calories will be good for you.
wirey =healthy
and if you wanna be a bloated hypebeast again afterwards go for it.
if youre serious about this no gym point tho i doubt you have the braincapacity to solve this on your own

Southern Indian food isnt that expensive, they dont eat much meat in general, especially in the South. However there is plenty of fish and you are likely to be comparatively rich.

Either way it doesnt matter that much, just tell them you want lots of dal(lentils/split pea curry). Lentils and split peas are around 20-25g per 100g.
Ontop of that you can likely source paneer, which is a type of quick curdle cheese.

I hope you get killed by a hindu nationalist mob

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"

Matthew 6:25-27

Don't worry. You'll get gains for the kingdom, and you'll receive the rest.

Fuck India. Your people need you HERE.
