Resistance bands

Redpill me on those. Are they legit or are they a meme?

yes

Nice trips op

Thanks.

Seriously, nobody has used them?

Yes

yeah

They're great for travel, warm-ups and beginners but unless youre willing to throw a lot of money away for the super tense bands, weights are better alternatives. That being said, I like using them for tricep extensions and a few other things.

I've got all of them. It's fun. You can copy barbell/dumbbell exercises and do it at home or outside, you can use it as assistance in certain bodyweight exercises(I use it for training rear lever) or as additional resistance.
Biggest plus is they are cheap as fuck.

Thank you. I've been considering buying a whole program for band training but I can't get the idea out of my head that it won't be as effective as a main activity. Seems more like it's a useful side activity for people who travel.

Do you follow a routine? I've been looking at undersunfitness.com, it seems to be kinda interesting but I'm not willing to pay 50 bucks for a meme if I can find it for free

They are basically an alternative for cables

Not really. I use it to supplement my calisthenic routine. It's good for isolation, especially if you can anchor it somewhere.
Also why would you spend your money on routine? Just make one yourself or copy some free weight program with some additions. James Grage have free videos on his channel, there is enough info about bands to understand how bands work

Elitefts or Rogue mini bands or monster bands are awesome for doing banded movements with bench, squat and other main exercises. Also for arm and shoulder work.

Legit.

Actually better than weights for stuff like grappling, acrobatics, etc.

Best for penis gains. Trust me bro.

I got one for helping me with pull ups haven't used it yet though

i sometimes add bands to my squats, bench press, curls etc for additional resistance.

They work for what theyre designed to do but what theyre designed to do doesnt work

Good for accessory movements

They're fine. I find they beat my joints up more than chains for some reason.

I use them for a lot of curls at like 105lbs, the more rom you put in the 'heavier' it gets so they're perfect for those sort of exercises.
Also a nice safe way to do a light fullbody workout provided you have places to hook them to.

I have some. I attached one to my pullup bar and began doing cable movements. The bar detached from the door frame and hit me in the face.

They are legit as fuck. Even if you don't intend to incorporate them into your lifts as some alternative abnomination to specialise certain parts of the exercise or your body they are still essential for the rotator cuff exercises you need to do regulary.

AlphaDestiny has a whole libary of videos done on his youtube channel speaking for miniband resistance bands.

The only downside is that they are pricey as fuck if you dont find some good combination product

Well, thank you all for your answers. It seems like it's a good complementary accessoire to going to the gym. Is a strong body achievable only with bands?

A strong body is achievable without any accessories whatsoever so that's a redundant question.

nah its good watch alphadestinies videos on em
