Why was almost nobody fat in the 80's and before that...

Why was almost nobody fat in the 80's and before that, even though they didn't exercise that much and ate a lot of junk food and drank limonades?

>limonades
the fuck is a limonade you goddamn sconce

Lower intake of ultraprocessed foods, fat & oil, cheese and meat.

Lack of a popular culture of nutritional pseudoscience that told them carbs are bad because they "spike your blood sugar" and "cause insulin".

Lemonade in spic

food is relatively much cheaper now. the increasing availability and accessibility of food coupled with stagnant education regarding proper diet and nutrition equates to a lot of misinformed/under-educated people and families with full pantries and empty brains.

Look at how many grams of sugar are in a soda can, it's 41 grams (83% of the recommended daily amount). Just 5-10 years ago, that used to be 20-30 grams. They keep upping the sugar amount in everything, dude.

literally the food industry lobby

Fucking limonade leave this site you fucking cretin

I'm finnish, give me a break

Literally the opposite of reality.

No smart phones.
Physical labor still existed.
It wasn't socially accepted.

limonade is what you burgers call retardedlly “soda”

Not exactly.
Limonade may traditionally be sparkling depending on the region, but carbonated lemonade would not fit the common definition of "soda" in America.

The 80s are when obesity started to become a thing. The last thin decade was the 60s. Take a look at crowd shots of Woodstock. 500,000 people. No fatties anywhere.

In the late 70s and early 80s the (((government))) started telling people that fat was bad for them and tons of carbs was good. So (((companies))) jumped on this trend and started making ultra processed garbage that replaced healthy fats with sugar and processed fake chemicals. The government then doubled down on poisoning the citizenry by heavily subsidized fake sugar.

The government hates you and wants you dead.

>a bunch of broke, drugged up hippies are skinny

wow.

Relatively lower PUFA intake

The late 80s is when food engineering kicked into overdrive - Cheetos, lunchables, Capri sun, all these things were invented and heavily optimized towards one goal starting then: get as much of this shit down as many peoples throats as possible

Because crack is an appetite suppressant

German for lemonade

It’s borderline impossible to overeat if you don’t eat carbs

It's also difficult to overeat when you get chemotherapy or are dying of AIDS

Cocaine. A lot of cocaine.

its all life style their life style was completely different. They didn't sit on their asses on a computer. If you wanted socialization you had to go outside for it.

Literally any old picture you dense fuck

Everyone should watch Fat Head, the response to Supeesize Me. Clearly shows how the government manipulated the populace for financial gain. Now there is so much info out there people are drowning in it but STILL believe the government propaganda

It was before people shat on fats and turned to carbs so everyone was accidentally doing keto diets

Partially hydrogenated basedbean oil, corn oil, high fructose corn syrup. Mass disinformation and hysteria campaign. Lifestyle decay. Manipulative definitions of obesity.

that sounds fucking tasty

Damn man, idk, I just really hate niggers.

cocaine

because we still mocked the fat kid until he killed himself.

Who says they didn't exercise that much and ate a lot of junk food?

Assuming what you say is true, it must mean that people today eat more calories and/or burn less calories than in people in the 80's or before, which would make them fatter than people in the 80's or before.

It's science.

in the 70s sugar companies campaigned about the evilness of fats (which is where lite and 99.9% fat free comes from), which lead to carbs and sugar being thrown into food unnecessarily. 80s onwards is the obesity epidemic.

disturbingly redpilled

Ist Deutsch, Brudi.

it's what people from new zealand call lemonade
