I'm almost bald and this is my cope-cut. It is not extremely wind-tolerant, but it looks a fuck of a lot better than that boomercut you posted. I only have frontal balding though, no bald spot at the back. The key is to let the front grow slightly too long, cut the back and sides short, and have the hairdresser blend the sides into the front, otherwise your head will look weirdly wide due to lack of density at the top. The other key is to stop washing your hair. Not only does shampoo accelerate balding, but the texture your hair will get once your natural oils return does wonders to improve the cope cut. My unwashed hair is matte and sort of sticky, so it doesn't move around very much and appears thicker. If you actually have a full head of hair, going nopoo will make you look god-tier. not true. It only makes it greasy for the first 3 months. After that, the natural oils return and give your hair godly texture. The key is to rinse your hair under cold water every day and spend several minutes distributing the oils from the roots to the tips. Sometimes I forget to do this for a week or so and my hair gets really oily and thin looking, then I'll take a long shower and distribute my hair oils, and I let it dry and it looks amazing. I know it's counterintuitive, but nopoo is worth it in the long run, especially if you're a semi-baldy.

Step 3: Dermarolling (aka microneedling). Buy a dermaroller on the internet somewhere, and start rolling it on your scalp 2-3 times a week. Roll it on your face as well, since it helps with acne. This increases collagen levels and gives you healthier skin and hair or some shit I don't know I'm not a dermatologist but it's definitely helpful.

Step 4: Collagen supplements. This is basically protein powder made from bone marrow. Buy some and start taking 1-2 scoops daily. As above, collagen is good for your hair and skin.

Step 5: If all else fails, find a style of hat that suits you. I'm partial to bandanas and flat caps, myself.
