Is this much protein a meme?

so I tried to lifting again seriously 2 weeks ago and after counting my calories and measuring everything I ate I noticed I always came up short on protein.

I'm doing 1500 cal and at 113g for carbs, 150g for protein, and 50g for fat.

I just bought these at Costco and I want to know if eating almost nothing but protein like this (alongside regular meals) is a meme. will this hinder or aid my progress?

sorry for sideways picture, I thought my phone would post it like I took it, which was straight.

just adding that I'd be eating these as snacks so I won't feel as hungry, not as sole meals.

.8-1g max per lb of LEAN body weight for gains.

>buying meme protein food
>not just buying powder and making your own shit

get rid of the carbs and boost fat

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Not OP but are you saying I haven't needed to eat 170g of protein a day, feeling sick every day from the 5 scoops of whey?

I didn't think that amount of carbs was high. should I go lower and fall for the keto meme?

Depends on your body weight :) but probably no. The only downside is digestive issues if any, and the extra calories from excessive protein.

are you jewish? why are you trying to trick people into giving themselves heart disease?

Cringe

You dudes are so stupid thinking you need to eat this much protein. Good gawd

Tell me how much I need daddy

You could have bought several pounds of meat for the cost of that. Real food is better for your digestive system.

protein overfeeding studies show little to no fat gain

>eating the carnal jew
yuck!

Lmao this. If you can’t hit your daily macro intake thru regular food you’re retarded and don’t know how to eat

If I wasn't attempting to eat 170g of protein a day (1 gram per pound of bodyweight) I could easily.

you don't need that much protein you dingus.
literally just like 120g, which you can get from eggs, meat, and cheese.

Yeah because protein has relatively few calories, but calories are calories

CARBS BAD

depends on your genetics. Diabetes is common in my family so I'd rather have a high fat diet than high carb.

Its not as good as getting it from regular food. you miss out on a lot of added nutrition that way. Also pure protein blend is mostly collagen...
Also body metrics for eating 1500kcal?

Sounds like you're eating too much shitty foods. You can easily get 130g protein with only 650cals.

post body

I'm 5'11" 210 lb.
what food suggestions?
is collagen bad?

You can get 130g protein from boiled eggs pretty easy.

There you go.

Literally just need a minimum of 0.64g/lb of body weight a day to build muscle.
