Basically for cardio workouts only, though if I've slept like shit or not enough I'll take a dose even if I'm just doing weights

I mix my own with 5g beta alanine, 3g citrulline, 200mg caffeine and 4g creatine (which I put in my morning shake anyway, otherwise)

Nice buzz, I enjoy the tingles and it keeps me going for much longer than I would otherwise poop out. I like running and feeling strong at it even if I'm shit.

I've started using this this week. It's stim free preworkout but I've basically been no stim all my life so I don't need stimulants to get that little bit extra during a workout. It's pushed me over 2pl8 bench and up to 67.5kg ohp. It could just be a big fat placebo but I'm OK with that. Also tastes great

Nope. I do fasted workouts because I don't like the feeling of having food in my stomach when I'm lifting. I don't really notice a performance difference either. I might actually be a bit stronger when I'm fasted though.

Preworkout usually has stimulants like caffeine or beta alinine to wake you up and increase mental focus, in addition to creatine, taurine, citruline malate, and some other random shit thrown in there to give you a better pump and help your muscles fire better/receive more oxygen.

Whey/protein powder is just a meal supplement, although most tend to have creatine in it so it can be beneficial to take before a workout too.

FWIW, Creatine and caffeine are the only ingredients that have fuckloads of studies proving that they actually increase lifting performance.

I've taken Mr. HYDE and Lit. Both decent and definitely allow me to be more focused and push through higher weights. Mr. hyde is the best, but there is a significant come down period about 3 to 4 hours later where you either need to just take a nap or feel depressed. This probably means it isn't very healthy for you, so it isn't a long term solution and I dont think any decent pre workouts should be used long term. But if you are just on like a work out kick for some reason, like going on spring break in a month and want to get jacked as possible, hyde or lit are good. Also just start with a half dose of either if you are going to try it. They are strong as fuck
