Do I squat/deadlift at the start or the end of the session ?
Half of the starting programs claim start, the other half claim end.
Help pls/

For better stats you should probably start with it desu when u have the most strength. Do some warm up and get to it. Godspeed
Based on my personal experience I think squat always comes first UNLESS you're going to deadlift too, in which case DL first.
deadlift at the start, say you'll squat at the end but skip it anyway
this
>deadlift at the start, say you'll squat at the end but skip it anyway
I don't plan on DL and squating at the same day, this is my current plan based on reddit and the last natural programs:
Workout A
3×5+ Squats
3×5+ Bench Press
3×5+ Chinups
Workout B
3×5+ Deadlifts
3×5+ Overhead Press
3×5+ Chinups
>3 exercises
>Work our
????
lmao youre at the gym for 20 mins?
on leg days only for squats I do 6 sets
I've never lifted for more than a month in my life
>deadlifting before squatting
oh sweeties, don't do this
Doing it the other way not only fucking blows but has a way higher chance of killing yourself
I find it better to squat then deadlift. If I deadlift then squat, for some reason my squat really suffers.
I did pretty good on my dead lift and when I was about to do squats it suffered so bad I had to do half the working weight! Did more volume though so it was kinda a win
Not planing on deadlifting and squating at the same day.

Yeeeaaaaa that's what I figured out. That's why I'm designating it on pull day and I'll still do some glute bridges and Romanian necrolifts along with squats on legday.
Whatever type of press at the beginning
Then squats
Then diddlies
Last comes (another) pull
>complex has squats and deadlifts
DYEL retards begging for an injury
You're objectively wrong. Don't give advice unless you can at least squat 3pl8 for 5.
OP, squat first then deadlift, preferably with an intermediary exercise in between the two like bench press to give your lower body some recovery time.
Deadlifting before squats will literally destroy your squats. Squatting before deadlifts hurts your deadlift a little bit but nowhere near as much as vice versa.
all about that CNS
Fuck off DYEL
If youre going for strength, which most people are, you go for squat and deadlift first.
As for hypertrophy, i dont know if it really makes a difference if you do it first or last.
Dont listen to these cunts, they are retarded.
Do listen to this guy though.
There is a reason why powerlifting meets go squat -> bench -> deadlift. Its because squatting isnt as taxing on the body as deadlift, and the bench inbetween is just for resting sake.
Is also true. I care more about my deadlift, than squat, and doing squats first and being 5% worse at deadlifts afterwards is better than doing deadlifts first and being 25% worse at squats afterwards.
My advice is to space out the deadlift and squat days if possible, so you can get rest and only have to focus on 1 lift at a time.
Is true. Squats before deadlift, but if possible, try to squat and deadlift on different days if possible.
If you look at powerlifting programs you always start with squatting, benching or deadlifting. Maybe stretching/mobility work first.
On squat, bench and deadlift just try to progress your strength. (1-5 reps unless you follow a program, in which case you follow the programs order)
post body
Always do your big 3 first, just make sure to warm up properly. You want to make sure that you're at your strongest when doing them.
For strength you squat/dl first always.
For hypertrophy it doesn't really matter, I like to high rep squat/dl last after other exercises. Just don't do tripples after 4 leg exercises, that's retarded.
