You will hate yourself on diddy days, but it's a good hypertrophy program

Im doing it atm, progress for the last 7 weeks:

BP 125kg -> 130kg
OHP 63kg -> 72.5kg
SQ 140kg -> 165kg
DL 190kg -> 215kg

Im too autistic to do those numbers
>cant stand odd number sets
But the idea of decreasing reps as weight increases does work. Put 20 lbs on my max bench in like 2 weeks lol

Good and simple program to gain mass. Although it's hard to prioritize any body part in case something is lagging.

would you recommend bbb over phul?

I'm having a weird experience with it 4 months in. I've definitely gotten bigger, but I've lost strength. Weight I used to have an easy time doing 2-3 reps with I now have to go all out for a single. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. If not for the fact that I've been gaining mass and weight I'd attribute it to not eating enough, and I get at least 7½ hours of sleep every night, usually 8+.
That said, I really like doing the program.

It's shit

Awful advice I'm sure you're small and weak as fuck

switched from BBB to FSL after 4 cycles of BBB. Any pros/cons of both programs?

I actually love push/pull split cause it is focused bit more on upper body. PHUL and BBB are both good, it's kinda personal reference. I would integrate 531 progression on main lifts at PHUL over BBB cause my lats are small.

I think fsl with 50 sets is a good combo. I tried doing bbb and the weight for the volume sets was just to easy. Even after heavy jokers it wasn’t challenging enough.

Simple. You're a vagina

FSL master race here. I do 100 push reps and 100 pull reps after FSL. 50 of each are for bicep and triceps isolations though.

This, I kinda thought 5/3/1 even with bbb didn’t have enough pulling. I though bench/ohp/dead days should include 5x8-12 sets of whatever pull exercises you want to incorporate.
Something like:
Bench:
Working sets
Jokers
Fsl 50 reps totals
5xamrap weighted pull-ups

Ohp:
Working sets
Jokers
Fsl 50 sets total
5x8-12 of barbell rows

Deads
Working sets
Jokers
5x8-12 of lat pulldowns

I don’t think the volume for deads is necessary especially if you are doing lowbar squats but that’s just my opinion.

Do you do those 100 sets after every workout or just on bench/ohp days?

On bench days I will do 5x10 of some kind of row, then 5x10 for a bicep and a tricep exercise. On OHP day I’ll do 5x10 of pull ups and then the 5x10 of biceps and triceps.

Ahhhhh ok ok I understand now. Thanks for the reply. Enjoy your gainz.

No problem friend. Good luck out there
