The way that I see it is that the cost and benefits have shifted- and that men (at current) need not work in order to enjoy- they're living off the wealth of the past- but this fund is decreasing- and when men can no longer draw on this wealth from the past, the cost/benefit of action will again benefit those who strive. I hope that this happens before we destroy our society (too much more).
