>bodyweight

do some negatives and lat pulldowns

you are fat

The pants say it all.

Monkey see, monkey do. I bet he took the apepill.

Are you fat?

I have only 17% of bodyfat.

If you are only doing body weight then you would have to do pull ups to get good at doing pull ups.
You have to incrementally improve through lat pull downs and bent over rows from bar to body weight

That is still fat that is weighing you down.

>months of bodyweight routine
that, also you're probably fat

>What can i be doing wrong?
Do you happen to be cursed with a vagina

I struggled forever with this, but started doing deadhangs every work out until one day i was able to do a pull up. I can now do 5 or 8 on a good day and still do pullups in every workout

bodyweight makes you weak at pulling because you only push, only pullups work out your pulling muscles so of course you cant do it

So i should mix some weighted exercises or simply move on to weights based routine?

Post body
It can be your weight
It can be your form, when I corrected it one pull up turn into 5
Not enough rest
Not enough protein and calories, if you don't eat enough you wont grow at all.

All these things from personal experience so yeah I screwed up when j started lifting.

Negatives.
Inverted Rows.
Dead Hangs.
Lat Pull-Downs.
Fork Put-Downs.

just pull yourself up once you faggot lmao what the fuck is wrong with you senpai just literally pull yourself up bro like grab the bar with your hands and lift your body we're not talking 20 reps just one time lmao

Pullups are body weight.... And pulling...
The amount of dumb that I just read

looks like you're so low iq you didn't manage to read where I mentioned pullups, maybe have your caretaker or parents read it for you and help you understand

What is your body weight?

Regardless.

Do 5x10 assisted pullups.
Once you can do 10x assisted pullups at 20lbs of "help" you should be able to do atleast 3 body weight.

Once you can do atlest a handful of bodyweight you will EXPONENTIALLY make gainz.

Get a pullup bar at home and do pullups in morning before you leave for work/school.
When you get home.
In evening
Before bed
Etc

The more frequently you do them stronger you'll get.

Once you get over bodyweight hump, you'll be able to do them consistently.

pullup assisted machine or lat pulldown until you can do a few

We just came to comment on OP eating shit in the silent movie clip

Last time i checked at the bodyfat scale in the gym (dunno how accurate those are, but in general they gave more or less the same result for me):
>76 kg weight
>35.9 kg muscle
>12.9 kg fat
I have 175.5 cm height

Also should i simply use bands to help me with pull-ups?

The thing that worked really well for me is doing lat pulldowns at a very low weight. Let's say you can pull 100lbs, only pull 50, but focus entirely on your lats. Try doing a claw grip, which makes the focus on the lats a bit easier. Keep doing this until you can feel your back muscles moving the cable down.

Is the guy ok? It looks like he could get spine injury

>not a single chin up rec

Practice chins, I remember I did my first pullup when I hit the 5x5 full rom limit of chins.

Try fasting for a week you landwhale

>Calisthenics doesn't have pulling movements
How hard have you hit your head?

>What are inverted bodyweight rows?

Actually lift

more kipping. all the pros do it.

I hate the claim pull-ups are easy for people who weigh less. They're obviously not going to have as much muscle.

ZERO

It's good that you always do exactly 5 or 8. Pic related.

just go to a gym worth the money that actually HAS an assisted pullup machine.

That discontinuity doesn't make any sense, are 7 reps cursed?

I'm about the same as you in that regard, but I can still crack out five good pull-ups before I need to rest, compared to literally none a few months ago. what have you been doing?

Yes, 7 reps are literally as bad as not lifting at all, since it neither trains strength nor hypertrophy.

its just a meme due to the disparity in data.

>tfw 28% bf and can do 3 pull ups

Attached: 285.jpg (334x506, 22K)

Here more things when doing pull up I forgot to mention was tighten your back and abs, don't lift your legs up keep them straight.

This is a joke right?

No. Ever see a program call for 7 reps? It's always 5 or 8, sometimes 6. But it's never 7.
