Jow Forums tried to but sank to the bottom because it couldn't let go the barbell.

Yes and the high school girls lifeguarding stay mirin me as I do it

Swimming after lifting is the move, plus I am getting tan as I do it. Plus I do it during the middle of my workday so I am getting paid lmao

Do we need to have the buoyancy debate all over again?

How do I swim bros? Is it over for me? I can only do the virgin breast stroke

The way you write, yeah I'd say it's over.

I'm just desperate man, I think I ruined my knee running. It has been 6 months and it still isn't like it used to be. I'm finding new means of cardio

Go see an Orthopedic doctor to see if there's any permanent damage. Nothing wrong with breast stroke.

Mine already gave me meds but that was a month ago. Maybe I should see another one. The meds made the pain go away but I still feel that it isn't etirely right. It could be I'm just a little bitch.

Yes but not in toxic chlorinated pools, I swim in rivers because it's natural, hehehe.

>meds to help you ignore the problem instead of actually addressing it
Okay, but what about your actual knee tissue?

I have no idea, my doc told me to take the pills and start running slow and easy. He also advised me to not take the pills at some days to see if they're improving but I think I hit a plateau.

Go to an orthpedic, not a normal internal doc

Your doctor gave up, HE is the one who hit a plateau. Go find someone who will do an ultrasound or MRI.

OK Thanks user, I always had a sense that my doctor is shit. He never wants to go in depth when I have questions or send me to specialists. Have a good day

I can't believe the young people don't know who Saaya Irie is anymore

I swim at least a kilometer every day, usually 2 on the Saturdays and Sundays.

Does anyone have any good skincare advice? I always shower before and after being in the pool, but I usually swim during my lunch break so I end up going back to work outside and putting on sunscreen and sweating, I shower before I go to bed too but it feels like too much.

>toxic chlorinated pools
You’re not supposed to drink the pool water dumbass. Also you’re supposed to shower when you get out so it doesn’t suck up your hair

For the most part it’s going to clean your skin since your pores are open and being rinsed while you swim. Just be sure to wash everywhere and moisturize where it feels dry. Especially the face. I rinse my face off and put on a little moisturizer at night and it makes me feel better

I'm starting this week. I had been doing stairclimbing. Usually 150 floors per day but have been told I am no longer allowed to use the stairs for that purpose. But I do have access to a small 40' look that usually will not be in use by anyone other than me during my workouts.
Not sure how to even start other than swim back and forth between ends of the pool. Guess I will figure it out as I go along. My swimming experience is all just from goofing around at the lake most my life. Swimming alone for exercise will be a big change from swimming for fun with friends.

>But I do have access to a small 40' look that usually will not be in use by anyone other than me during my workouts.
40' pool.

Fuck outta here witcho Yellow fever havin old boomer ass

i know what you mean, dumbbells totally have a high enough horizontal surface area if they hit the water on the side

>ruined knee from running
How? Did you run too frequently or too fast or shitty shoes or bad form? Genuinely curious as I'm on the same boat as you. My only cardio is running and I don't want to get injured but I think I might setting myself up for it:
>jog 5mph every day for 30-40 mins
>jog for 12 loops (no rest)
>sprint for 2 loops
>1 hour strength training
I did this for two weeks. I'm thinking of limiting cardio alongside arm days, and taking a rest during leg days

My guy. It takes me a while to get my breathing under control and shake off fatigue from just lifting, so I usually do 4x25, 1x100, 2x200, 1x400 or 1x200, 2x300
