But I smoke. The longest I've been without smoking in the last 3 years of trying to quit was 8 days. I smoke since I'm 14 (I'm 26) and its the most difficult habit to break I've ever had. Apart from this shit habit, I lead a super active and healthy life (ocassionaly dable in junk food or get drunk or do recreational drugs, but nothing much) and am basically the best possible version of myself.
I need help, are any smokers or ex-smokers out there willing to share some tips? Apreciate it faggots!
Fucking hard habit to quit
Take supplies, go somewhere remote without them for 2 weeks, leave your money access behind.
The problem with that is that as soon as you're back to your normal routine, the withdrawal kicks over again
Donate all of your money to charity and then be too poor to buy smokes. Quitting smoking is easy when your poor because you have to chose between ciggies or food.
do molly, freed me from the nicotine and alcohol jew overnight
Just quit lmao

What a bunch of retard replies.
Problem is that smoking takes a part of your daily time. Try to get something to do, so that you simply 'don't have time' for smoking. Don't really overthink it.
Try to last as much as you can between smokes without really pushing yourself that hard. It's really a habit, more than nicotine problem, so you have to fight the habit of smoking itself.Occupy yourself with stuff to do to break the smoking habit and instead do something else. Quitting cold turkey is okay but you gotta have some will power. I easily lasted a few months with the idea of "I can keep myself from smoking for 1 more hour" over and over again, which actually worked, instead of telling yourself "I'm not gonna smoke 2 weeks".
It's also always a plus to think hard about the health consequences of smoking right when you get the urge to light one up, it can keep you from smoking for a bit more.
Also, do you really wanna fall for the cigarette jew?
>do molly
tfw I love smoking on molly
OP here, already fallen.
Those are good tips, but unfortunately every time I get the urges and think "oh in an hour I can smoke" I know I'm tricking myself into not smoking RIGHT NOW which makes my brain get furious with me and give me an even higher urge. The "I don't have time" for smoking one actually works better but still haven't been able to progress much.
I have a kid on the way and I want to kick this habit before/around the time he is born
Snus, look it up. Its still bad but a way better alternative
Made me quit cigs in a week
You haven't realized how fucked you are.
You still really believe that someday in the future you'll quit and have a normal healthy life. This is why you don't quit.
It will dawn on you somewhere in your 40's how hoplessly stuck you are in this addiction. By then, it will already be too late.
Oh man, you have a kid coming? That's awesome man, that's a great motivator. Maybe the best there is. Wish the little fellar all the best.
Would you want your children to be smokers? Surely not. Kids learn from their parent, the best you can do is quit it for them/it. Think of the Kid every time you wanna smoke. Wanting to avoid smoking for your kid should be a much bigger desire than to light one up. If that's the case just never ever buy any more smokes man. Don't wanna sound arrogant at all, but learn some discipline and self control. You have an ultimate goal to be the best parent for your kid, nothing's stopping you from giving proper example!
how about vaping instead?
Frequent meditation has been shown to help reist urges like nicotine addiction
Man I dunno OP. I've tried to quit and relapsed pretty hard today, had half a packet so far. I'll prob have a few more tonight and then try to start fresh tomorrow.
I went a long time (for me) without smoking by using my vape. I think I made it about 3 months.... But I ran out of juice and I went straight to the local supermarket. They didn't have juice so I got cigs. Bad choice I know.
I wish I could just switch it off. It's really difficult to do it on my own, I wish I had a quit smoking buddy that I could text or talk to whenever I wanted a cig just to talk about it. Being on my own makes it difficult
I actually like this idea But I don't have the time to take to do it. A nice stint in the wild without communication would be awesome, but I work 50 hours a week and need my phone for emails.
What do you guys think her pusy looks/feels like?
The only good way to quit smoking with vaping is to use it like you would use nicotine patches - as a short term substitute to control and reduce the nicotine addiction. Otherwise, if you get used to it, you'll end up with an even worst habit because the craving is almost permanent when you vape. Not to mention the risk of falling for all the nerdiness surrounding the vaping community/ market.
Probably like milk and coins
Try vaping. I'm not even trolling. I smoke a pack in 2 days since 17 and i'm 25. I bought a vaper and i've quit cigs for 2 months without breaking a sweat. I went back to smoking cigs because a whore broke my heart and i said fuck it.
Grose
The easyway book, by Alan Carr did the trick for me
I haven't kicked the smoking completely but I started only smoking tobacco with weed or hashish, this limits your intake. At the same time if possible find the brand of cigarettes/tobacco that has the lowest possible amount of nicotine. This risk here is of course that you replace your addiction with a worse one
Ex smoker here. Switch to vaping, decrease the nicotine content to zero progressively over say a 3 month period. Switch to the nicotine gum. Do that for 2 or three weeks, then get off completely if youre feeling up to it or regular gum. Addictive personality traits dont go away, but you can redirect the addiction to something stupid like gum or suckers. Every once in a while I'll have a cigar with whiskey, and then not drink for a while, to minimize further temptation.
yikes
>Switch to the nicotine gum
will stain your teeth worse than all of your years of smoking do not chew this crap.
Quit. Your way of thinking literally needs to be changed. It can be very painful as well because of the receptors and what not getting changed, hormonal changes, etc. When I quit smoking I became a Christian. I had to do it. My old way of thinking and way of life was killing me. It wad pretty hellish getting through even the first 2 months or so. But I held on to hope and to truth. Smoking is a terrible thing. But don't keep pushing it down the road. You may end up hating yourself for it.
Learn to think without cigarettes and you'll be fine. Don't consider them a part of you anymore and live by what's on the INSIDE. Not by feelings or self destructive thoughts. You know deep down you hate smoking. That is the real you talking. Your spirit. Listen to him and you'll be just fine. If you screw up and miss the mark by backsliding, don't beat yourself up over it. You can only move forward. The past needs not be your identity. Cheers.
Stop being a bitch and just drop it cold turkey.
I smoked a pack a day or more for a very long time. I tried chantix, nicotene patches, nicoteen gum and weening myself off.
What finally worked was i got a horrible cold and all I could think about was if this cold made my throat hurt this bad how bad must throat cancer be. They I visuallized it and every time I got a craving I reminded myself how by that cold made my throat and how much worse throat cancer would be. I quit cold turkey that way.
Also, I would fug that grill like a fucking carnivorous rabbit. Give me some fucking sauce.
mook stop breaking the servers you fucking bitch
switch to a no nicotine vape
going to give you the oral fixation, and joy of smoking, and allow you to smoke to your hearts content while you get off your actual addiction (Nicotine).
After you're no longer addicted to nicotine, continue vaping if you like or go less and less until not at all, just make sure you never allow nicotine back into anything you smoke or you'll be back at square one.
I'm currently addicted right now, I don't know, I'm off on off on for the last two years now,
I quit, then I get bored on my breaks or just feel like having one, or buy some while i'm drunk and it creeps back in.
I think this time is the only time quitting where I remember having a hard time, and it's mainly because im just laying around the house right now with nothing better to do. I'm sure when my circumstances change they'll be easily nixed.
Hey buddy, sincerely, and I hope you take this to heart, you sound like the most inauthentic faggot I've ever heard in my whole life. You don't even talk like a normal human being.
I'm just telling you it's universally disgusting, and I'm sure even your dog can pick up enough human social ques to hear you and be disgusted by how utterly dishonest and inauthentic you are in how you speak.
Be unapologetically honestly you, and have you be a virtuous person. Stop with this weird projecting inauthentic bullshit.
Fuck m8 yea it was a little christfag cheesy but no need to get seething mad over someone trying to help. Youre worse than him
A guy on bobby lee's podcast recently talked about how he quit smoking. I've never smoked, so I can't give any personal experience, but I'll try to paraphrase what he said:
" the longest a true, physiological "craving" for nicotine can last is 3 minutes (maybe 5, whatever it was, it was a short amount of time). So while you might still want to smoke after that, the feeling wont be as intense and you can probably forget about it. So all you really need to do is resist for those 5 minutes. Every time you have a craving, you just need to fight the true urge for 5 minutes, and it will settle down. At first you might have a lot frequent cravings, but the more you can resist for those 5 minutes, the less frequent the impulses/cravings become over time."
some author on nicotine addiction wrote a book talking about this shit. sorry i cant remember more specific details. Good luck OP, smoking sucks
Oh my she’s perfect
