Had chicken legs.
Squatted till 320lb 1rm.
Hated every second of it.
Legs way bigger but have wide hips and am 6'4" so looking weird.
Decide to just run a 5k at 8mph before workout.
Life is much better and legs still strong looking.

I have massive legs and the upper body of an 8yr old boy. Why should I ever focus on legs?

you probably just don't have much muscle at all. squats and deadlifts will build more muscle all over than any other two exercises. do them while also blasting upper body and you'll have the best possible gains

No that's the first time I heard that. Are you sure they were actual females? Also most soccer play don't have huge quads, they're well toned and you don't need to do much leg workout.

Typically do them at 4x8-12, alternate between standing and seated on the days I do them.
