I started off doing retarded exercises that were basically a waste of time but still got gains because it's just that easy at the start. by the time it gets hard to make gains you will have been doing it long enough to learn what to do.

then u just want to eat simple shit that has calories + protein. shit like oats (oats + cinnamon + applesauce try it), milk, eggs, chicken, some burgers, tuna (tuna + rice + salsa is ez af and tastes amazing)
since ur lazy & skip meals, i recommend prepping ur food. like for the tuna, u can just make 4-5 servings of rice, keep it in some tupperware in ur fridge. when ur hungry u just fill a bowl with some rice, uncan some tuna & put it into microwave. ez clap now u have a meal and it took literally 1 minute to make
then its easy, eat a lot and make sure theres a lot of protein in it. Muscles are built from protein so you need to make sure that they have enough resources to get bigger after you stimulate them during workout.
Thats all there is to gaining mass as begginer, really
it may seem overwhelming user but trust me you'll learn it slowly over time. this sentence might sound austistic but so am I so it's fine - I've learned many things that may seem complicated in life but eventually after enough time I know them, some by heart. Do anything but deadlifts and squats, you dont want to injure yourself.
Start with low weight, your form isn't going to be perfect the first time you squat but you're not gonna ruin your joints by squatting the empty bar with so-so form a few times while you figure it out. You're anxious, sure, that's normal, but check in your ego at the door and take it slow and you'll be getting stronger in no time.
