eggs, egg whites, chicken, tuna, various dairy products (greek yogurt/cottage cheese are great), whey powder or whatever protein powder, any fish but that shit can be expensive, tofu is fine but tastes pretty bad, Pork is pretty good depending on the cut, lean beef is okay but still has a lot of fat and saturated fat so not too much.
Those are all my go to's, some are cheaper/easier than others.

you shouldn't need to, formula for building muscle is .7 times your bodyweight in lbs. Unless you're giant, or if you're on roids. that being said, a 180 pound lean man will require about 135-140 grams of protein. You get about 100 from a pound of lamb, chicken or steak.

I get 200g on a 1500cal diet.
400g of chicken breast, 3 eggs, 2 scoops of protons, pint of milk and some cheese. If I have calories left at 9pm I'll eat as many peanuts to meet my calories. That should be around 200

for the record, healthy problems have no issues with high protein diets. damaged kidneys get worse though. kind of like a healthy body can lift heavy weights, but a broken body gets injured further
