It spun me around and I crumpled to the floor, coming down hard on my knee. Every morning I wake up and the first few steps hurt until my knee makes an audible pop and seems to loosen up. Yes, you will be injured more easily and take longer to heal. Really became apparent to me when I hit about 55. 62 now. So what to do? Added an extra rest day between workouts and switched to lower weight/higher reps. That works really well. For now. Also started experimenting with mk677. Too early to tell but might be very good for accelerating healing of joint injuries.

Shoulder pain and joint pain is much more prominent.

You can work around it by doing exercises (ie facepulls) but you will still feel it when you sleep on it.

Aches and pains are more prominent, good cardio is invaluable, and lower back pain can become a real issue.

In other words, do the exercises that help prevent injury to your knees and shoulders, and don't smoke and do some cardio to keep your lungs healthy.

The sooner you start the better and easier it is later in life.

When you're actually young, as in still growing and shit, you're body is generally more malleable and able to recover from injuries, and also more likely to BE injured. Once you've physically matured, you're more sturdy, but things like broken bones require more to heal from. But generally speaking, injury recovery doesn't go completely into the shitter until test and HGH levels do.

I pulled a groin muscle about 10 weeks ago. Still troubling me. A decade ago it would have healed in a week or two.

33 here. Injuries are a lot more noticeable, and harder to "ignore", though you shouldn't be ignoring them if you want to properly heal in the first place.

Tweaked my shoulder and even after a week, it still feels off. Remember doing something similar when I was 23-25 and after a day or two it was fine. Then again, dunno if it was the same issue or something different.

Overall, anytime I hurt myself, it usually was within a week I was good again. Now it takes at least twice that at least to be back to at least 90%.
