its good if mixed grip doesn't feel right

it feels fine but in the summer I get a bit sweaty betty you know what I mean so my overhand hand gets all slipperyslip

The other pussy grip. If you’re not double-overhanding everything, you’re not strong enough to lift the weight.

get chalk or wipe off your thumbs

>oh i can't hold onto this so I can't lift the weight
>what? no, im not a pussy for not wanting to increase the weight. I swear you are more of a pussy for wanting to lift more weight

>LIFTING HEAVIER MEANS YOUR A PUSSY BROO!!!!!1111
Lmao please post body so we can see a prime copelord

too much pressure on calluses and rips them off

Hook grip is for olympic lifting.

Cleans / snatches

stuff people on this board never really do - so might think it's a meme.

if you're not doing oly, no reason doing hook grip.

its actually a quote by the lord rippetits himself, checkmate now hand in your summer licens youre expelled

If you aren't overhead squatting, you're too weak to squat the weight

Oh, the GOMAD guy? Better reason for it to be ignored.

It's good if your double overhand grip starts failing. It hurts like a bitch if you're not used to it, tape your thumbs for that. Overall, you get more out of your deadlift with double overhand, and the weight is distributed more evenly. It just takes longer to build up that grip strength.

t. 5pl8 double overhand 1x5 (5pl8 for more than a year, but only recently double overhand)

hookgrip does not count as double overhand. cope harder griplet

Post squat

He differentiates between hook and DOH at the very start of his post.

>t. 1.5pl8 deadlift

"he" aka you samefagging

Regardless, you were wrong.

straps

3 actually

That's not surprising. Everyone lifting for a couple months, like you, think they know everything until they chill out.

People making statements like "switch your hands to prevent imbalances" or "double overhand everything then switch to mixed grip when your hands give out" haven't been lifting more than a couple months in every single case. I know because I did it too.

bitch weight

I only do lunges and cycling

So it's ok to do mixed grip?
