So glad I stopped drinking. It feels great not being a slave to alcohol, but mostly it feels great not feeling like shit every morning. I get up at 5am now and workout. I’ve never felt this great in my whole life. You can quit, I believe in you.

I only drink like 5 times each year, but I was developing fatty liver disease. I was blown away, because I know people who are fat and drink and have a clean liver. Turns out I was consuming too much sugar (sucrose=50% fructose and 50% glucose) and too much refined fructose from açaí. Fructose damages your liver just like alcohol.

look up the studies fren. frauders on orals take them. udca you need a prescription for but not tudca.
also watch any video of a strongman taking diet advice from stan efferding. they are all drinking small amounts of orange juice throughout the day to help their liver.

I only drink booze and water. I take in less than 2k calories a day and 1k~ of that is booze. Cut back to drinking only at night now and I am planning on going dry once I finish these last two bottles I have.

That’s the best part about quitting this time. I just made it al about gains and calories in my head (which it is, desu). And now I just can’t even enjoy a drink anymore, I keep thinking about how I’m sabotaging my gains, ruining the whole experience. I’ve had a few drinks since I quit daily excessive drinking, and every time it’s been one and done. A few times I didn’t even finish it because I was overwhelmed with fear of the gains gobblin. This is how you beat alcohol, make it directly about your immediate progress, not your future health.

I would love to not need much protein on a daily basis, it would be cheaper and more enjoyable overall, but I just haven't seen much evidence for a lower protein diet to be good for building muscle, maybe it is the less damage you cause to your muscles or something, I have no clue how other people do it.
