the difference between limiting your calorie intake/dieting and restricting/an eating disorder/anorexia is that on the latter you are constantly stressing and harming yourself over it. not only that but it's usually unreal restrictions like 200kcal/day and you obviously can't fucking live on that shit.
funny how everyone makes such a shit show for eating too little calories but nobody cares about the possibility of eating too much. They don't even think for a second that maybe if you literally don't move all day, the 2500kcal "recommended for an average adult" does not apply to them, or that maybe their "light diet" marketed cereal for breakfast probably has most of those calories for the day.
