Don't worry OP, I'm only 24, and I'm starting to notice it doesn't happen as often anymore. it's more like a couple days a week if that.
Am also depressed, so take that as you will.

In 40 and have morning wood every day. You need to figure out what's depressing your t and remove it from your life.
im 32 and i have morning boners often, i haven't noticed any dropoff getting older. you might not have low t but still get it checked out, just to be sure.
Age only correlates with a reduction in testosterone, it does not directly cause it. So get your levels checked, ask specifically for you dht and free testosterone levels to be checked as well. If it is related to this and you have no other medical condition, you can absolutely solve this problem naturally.
You getting enough sleep?
Getting some cardio in?
Eating right?
Not drinking too much alcohol?
Might be T, might be bloodflow, regardless, take better care of yourself.

Run on your hands
Eat more protein, sleep more, workout more/harder than you already do and fap more when otherwise not having more sex

Did your sleep schedule change recently? Maybe you are just missing it. Morning wood isn't a one and done deal, you basically have a cycle of erections the whole night.
