If you have money to spare (cannot stress the TO SPARE part enough), invest it.
Keep enough money for your monthly expenses, lay off a bit for the rainy day when you break your leg crawling out of your burning house and find that your car has broken down, and invest the rest in a good fund or solid stocks.
Instead of throwing your money away on people you don't know, or paying the banks to keep your money there, you can let the money you've worked for begin working for you. Just stick XXX amount in there every month for XX years, check in on them every now and then, and realise that they're multiplying nicely and that you'll be able to retire earlier or have a good amount of capital on hand if you're out to buy a home for yourself.
The only thing you'll regret about it is not having started earlier.

Hospitals CANNOT turn people away even if they have no money or insurance. I know this for a fact because I do not have health insurance so when I get sick I just go to the hospital and tell them I'm homeless and I don't bring driver's license or documents. They give you the bare minimum of care required to get you better but that's better than 90% of the world anyway.

"Accessible" healthcare is why it costs a fortune now; government intervention and keeping minorities healthy + fat people has driven costs through the roof.
