INTERMITTENT FASTING IS A TEST DROPPER

>"On average, test. declines in healthy, fit resistance-trained males when 16 hr fasting is implemented w/o changing calorie intake."

That’s why you have sex during the first few hours of the fast

Its all ogre now

Our results suggest that an intermittent fasting program in which all calories are consumed in an 8-h window each day, in conjunction with resistance training, could improve some health-related biomarkers, decrease fat mass, and maintain muscle mass in resistance-trained males.

Congrats, i'm talking about testosterone however.

That’s what test is for, so how do the two statements make sense together?

>could improve SOME health-related biomarkers
Test drops, fat mass decreases and resistance-trained males maintain muscle mass. Nothing there is conflicting.

Test is responsible for lowering fat and maintaining or increasing muscle mass. If test is dropping then it doesn't make sense that fat decreases and muscle mass maintains. Seek better sources junior.

i thought it was cos of the calorie decefit

most likely double crossed

i was sick Sunday/Monday

alltogether i had about 1800 calories on both days, but for sure before that my test levels dont feel that high

>Seek better sources junior.
Care to provide one then?

fasting increases groth hormones

There aren’t any that support your bias

So you have no argument? Fantastic, thank you for your contribution to this thread.

What you think about the topic is wrong, so how can I provide a source that proves it right?

You have yet to disprove the study in the OP.

...

bros ive been doing a 18/6 fast for a month now and my lifts have stagnated
is this the reason?

With absolutely no source and still not disproving the study I posted, nice.
IF is not meant to be done long term.
I've also highlighted some interesting results
>cortisol levels went up
>test went down
>Insulin/Glucose down as well (could be the cause for being fatigued?)

>Wants a source that proves something right that is totally wrong

Are you an inbred?

How do you feel that you've contributed nothing to this thread?

Laughing at you is already enough. If possible I would spit in your face.

>If possible I would spit in your face.
Glad to know I was debating with an Alpaca, the lack of arguments and intelligence in your posts confirm this.

kek, continue to cope with your one study against dozens of others.

Keep shilling faggot

Kinofuckboy BTFO

Intermitent fasting is a meme

post your dozen of others
It's a good diet, just not long term.

This is interesting, personally my lifts increased while doing IF especially if I worked out fully fasted, i'm not sure if this was due to adrenaline maybe? Apart from a few spells of dizziness I generally felt great during a fast period which would be contrary to an increase in cortisol and a decrease in test right?

Jesus, just go on your posted website and type "Intermittent Fasting" - You will have material for the next week to read.

Intermittent fasting is gay anyway
Either you fast or you don't

Interesting study
I'm only doing IF until I lose enough weight

>Gets better at everything
>"...but muh t-test..."

lmao fastlets btfo

So I read the results and shit.

>tl;dr
Pros:
>Maintains muscle mass.
>Cuts fat.
>Increases insulin sensitivity.

Cons:
>Lowers test.

So do it while cutting. That's literally it.

omad is breddy gud

This.
Test is needed for recovery and muscle growth.
IF is for cutting and does exactly what it should.

OMAD appreciation thread when?

theres a /fast/ nearly everyday lol

If IT lowers test how come I'm waking up at full mast every morning

>can't even fast
This is why bodybuilding is that last thing you want to do if you're thinking about longevity.

Ye. Martin Berkhan says that.
It's only good for cutting.

I just like eating 2 meals a day I was doing IF before I knew what IF is.
I like eating 1000+ calories in one sitting and feeling full.

true, but omad is thought as pussying out in those threads, go big or go home. 3+ days is minimum. whereas for most people, omad will help you lose weight and get healthy with minimum effort. it's very underrated.

This. /fast/ is always about going a week without food or doing the 16/8 split.

I have been doing OMAD with 1100 kcal and its working amazingly, around a kg per week while doing some newbie lifting gains (nothing major, but getting the minimum protein or 110ish g).
Keep in mind that I am 113kgs currently (was 130kgs when I started) so it's not like this works for everyone, but for me it's almost like a cheat code.

what about free test.
what about estradiol.
what about estrogen.
what about test receptor sensitivity.
Test levels in a vacuum mean nothing, brainlet.
