Is lifting supposed to be fun?
How do you make it fun? Besides LARPing
Even running was more fun than this

As soon as you have enough gains to see some pump it will be fantastic. Also heavy diddies are fun all the time.
Unironically by taking it seriously meaning not caring about evrybody elses neuroses. Fuck em they all are wearing earbuds anyway. As in before you hit a PR pace around building up aggression like an autistic madman bang the weights on the rack a few times build power through grunts and voice motivation ala ronnie coleman. Have the metric be if when you drop the weight or rerack it if your not lightheaded your not having fun yet. Also make a few acquaintances at the gym to motivate and feel comfortable.
>How do you make it fun?
By doing calisthenics. Namely ring work
do exercises you like regardless of what people say and with proper form
Do sports and do the weightlifting to improve performance in said sport.
I just love to lift. But I do Olympic Weightlifting, so its basically a sport too
Unironically listen to heavy metal and screaming like Bugen
I don’t know that fun is the right word, but satisfying, yeah. I enjoy the feeling of pushing past a point that’s caused me trouble in the past, and I like looking at my records and how they go up.
If you’re really bored, you can always listen to a podcast or audiobook when you lift, but /in my experience/ I do better when I listen to music with a strong beat.
>Besides LARPing
How is that a LARP? Do you even know what that word means?
Are these men/trannies cosplaying as high school girls or 22 year old women
How are Japanese men supposed to handle women with relatively thicc thighs?
God l just want her to crush my fucking skull like a watermelon with those beautiful succulent thighs
LARPing is when you pretend you're a fucking anime protagonist while lifting
Lifting with friends is infinitely more enjoyable than lifting by yourself. Also, they help push you further past your limit.
gosh i wish that were me
Me on the right
I'm really struggling with this motivation stuff. I am only motivated by competition. I really struggle to workout on my own. How can I make working out competitive? Is that what crossfit is like?
After getting injured in january last year ive been recovering slowly from not being able to walk. To being able to ride a bike and now to function like a real human being without eating tons of painkillers. During this time i have felt slow, weak and heavy. 2 days ago i went to the gym and even tho my lifts were shit i felt like a god afterwards.
Its not about having ”fun” its about self improving and feeling good about yourself.
God i just want to lift that skirt and take a good whiff
God why do these pictures make me so fucking HARD. SIT ON ME.
Anyways I keep having fun lifting just by knowing that as I do it more I get noticeably better an stronger. Every time I fail something I use it to fuel myself to better myself. Even simply letting a chuckle out while in the hole of a squat always makes me feel better. Just laughing at how lucky I am to be able to keep myself healthy and strong. DOMS has become an enjoyable feeling. Also music is a damn good way to stay happy. Time your reps to the song so when it gets hard the song climaxes.
Getting fit and finding a gf who's not afraid to headscissor me is the greatest achievement of my life
Compete with the person you were yesterday.
This is the right thicc. Not that fake overly fictious diet muscle chick, not that I sit on my ass all day and eat cheese burgers flabby thick, but thick from building muscle from actually being athletic.
It's like primal wiring that tells you that shes healthy enough to have your kids and strong enough to care for them while you are gone with the hunting party, so you as a man can focus on the two things we are best at, fucking and killing, or is it killing and fucking?
>He doesn't get hoiyped when he lifts
I bet you don't listen to anime music while lifting either.
is this really normal in japan?
i went on vacation a couple times and most I saw were sticcs wearing long skirts
Absolutely fucking not. It's all sticc all the time over there
Give it a while. It becomes enjoyable.
Guys, the girl is leaning forward onto the countertop in front of her. This is compressing her thighs which makes her legs look wider than they would be otherwise.
Never do CrossFit. You Will end injured with no gains and everybody Will laugh at you
The only reason I lift now is for fun, I don't care about gains or strength or aesthetics or anything
Why are asian women so fucking hot
once you start seeing real progress, it starts feeling fucking awesome
there's basically no better feeling than slapping 5 more pounds on the bar and being able to lift it when you couldn't earlier
It starts feeling like an RPG when you're watching all the numbers go up, except all the stat increases are actually happening to you
Getting disciplined and going even when you don't want to is the only way to make it. I don't want to lift all the time but I do it anyway since you can't lie to yourself. If you don't go then your a quiter. Don't be a quiter, user. No one likes quiters.
It's not supposed to be fun but some find it fun. You make it fun, I guess. I have fun with it by feeling like a big tough guy after lifting something heavy. Also God I wish I was Japanese
retard alert
>long skirts
