>doing 45 reps total per gym session

Yep, it's for old boomers with shit work capacity and cardiovascular health.

Novices in general have shit work capacity you dumb nigger

Unless you've been bedridden for 20 years your work capacity will not be so awful that you can only do 15 reps of 3 exercises per session.

This is the definition of minimal effort providing minimal results

Only if you're a fucking shut in skeleton or fat fuck retard. Considering that you're defending these two, you're probably one of them nigger.

Do you struggle with eye contact in real life?

You probably do considering you're so fat and weak that you think anything beyond doing 5 reps and then resting for 10 minutes between sets is "too taxing"

No, because i'm not a DYEL subhuman with social anxiety like you. In fact, I probably stared you down the other day you twink.

holy cringe projection, post body

Post body or lifts

Accusing someone of projection is projection itself

Greyskull has 45 reps too. Is it also bad?

yes, it's trash tier non-periodized retard
strongerbyscience.com/periodization-data/

It's a beginner program meant to be ran only for a few months to learn the lifts

only if you're in a wheel chair

SS was designed by a guy that cucks out his wife to Black guys. Not even kidding. Why would you put any faith into a program made by someone like that?

Nice counterargument, retard

>Unless you've been bedridden for 20 years your work capacity will not be so awful that you can only do 15 reps of 3 exercises per session.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you should. The entire point of SS, and any other half decent n00b program, is to get the n00b fundamentally competent at lifting weights. This is achieved by starting with the bar to get the basic movement down, immediately moving to light weight to do the lift with a bit of resistance, and then steadily increasing weight across workouts so the n00b can adapt to lifting relatively heavy weights. Once that's done (like, 2-4 months), the n00b has the requisite skill and work capacity for programs with more periodization and much more volume.

>Internet tough guys

I feel like you s󠀀oyboy zoomers are causing the mental devolution of humanity. You're just salty because the 62 year old, doughy woman deadlifts more than you.

i already posted the numerous studies showing that it's extremely inefficient, refute that first

>you need to run a shit tier program to learn the lifts
lmao fucking retard DYEL

There's nothing to refute. It's not meant to be super efficient but simple.

there are numerous DUP programs that are extremely simple yet far more effective, why not run that instead?

Don't you think you'll learn the movement pattern better if you do more repetitions of it and strengthen other muscles at the same time? Why exactly do you think you can't learn these lifts doing a program with a bit more volume?

SS as it's written causes you to develop a t-rex body which is the opposite of what the vast majority of trainees want. Also why do you assume every beginner is a fat useless NEET who's never done a pushup or played a sport in his life? They're capable of a lot more than training like a geriatric person.

Name a better program than SS

In case people still don't believe this.

lmaoooooo

can anyone explain periodization to me? The only thing i get out of it is to use it when you plateau, step away from PR and work on recovery, then slowly work your way back up to your last PR to hopefully break it. Am I getting the main concept of it at least?

Post body/lifts

No that's totally wrong. Essentially peridization refers to changing your volume, intensity and rep schemes at certain intervals (there are different variations of this)
