I bought myprotein creatine two days ago. I was in the gym that day and started taking it after workout. I wanted to do the loading phase so i was planning to take 18g a day (6 x 3g scoop)
I didnt notice any side effects, i just had to take more water but i guess thats normal. Yesterday was a rest day and i took 18g again. Then i was like having a dinner, it was around midnight and i started feeling a little headache. I also measured temperature and it was like 36,9 almost 37, so i took ibuprofen so i can sleep because i was planning to go to the gym in the morning. But i woke up in 6am and i was literally shivering, and the body temperature is 38°C.
Is this from creatine? Did any of you have similar problems. I looked around on google and saw only one article where its just mentioned that fever could be one of the side effects.
