Just bought pic related. Pretty cheap from the amazon warehouse. My question: Do I need something for Dips as well? Are they necessary? And how far will I get with that shit in 8 weeks? I finally want to get laid
Calisthenics
Other urls found in this thread:
You can hang a set of rings off of it for dips.
Bought the same one and it dented my doorframe. I recommend buying a power tower instead.
That's pretty smart.
So you even think I should do dips at all?
Or would push ups and chin ups be already enoug?
Oh shit, okay.
Well I'll see how it looks after one or two days. My doorframe is out of massive wood. So I would be suprised if it does anything to it
The bar messed up my doorframe, there are cracks on the other side as well BUT imho it was worth it. I would also recommend getting dip bars from decathlon, I do rows and sheit but you could just get rings for the bar and do dips and rows.
>The bar messed up my doorframe
I've been asking about this in several threads. That's pretty much all I wanted to know about these bars. Will look for another home gym option, if there's any. Thanks, user.
If you're doing calisthenics you almost have to get the rings to put your body in positions of stress necessary to induce muscle growth.
Or just do the planks and whatevers for increasing time and reps at the same load and look like a twink while you do your "beast moves"
> look like a twink
This should help op get laid amirite?
If he's into guys then surely
He will be I'm sure.
Then it's fine
I'm not, faggot
25 yo incel
No need to be mean you'll be gay soon enough. You're already here
just get the telescopic bars
why do people get these instead of telescopic ones? you get much more variation out of it and the only upside they have is like 10 cm more height max
Rings will let you do dips and bodyweight rows and all kinds of cool shit. I'd say rings are actually more important than the bar since you can do pullups woth them too. Eight weeks is not nearly enough time for serious gains. Getting laid is more about being smooth and confident, so if "laid in eight weeks" is your only goal, focus on social gains.
>Rings will let you do dips and bodyweight rows and all kinds of cool shit
That's good to know. Where do you recommend I should mount those rings? Should I just get a power tower?
Pump
Have you learned nothing from those workout fail videos
Make a DIY suspension trainer.
pic related.
I hang them on my pullup bar at home, or on trees, swings, or bars in nearby parks
kek du hurensohn
du kannst die scheiß stange gleich für dips benutzen
Using this as a push-up and dips appartus is inefficient at best, if you're not crippled or in rehab.
>scheiß Stange
Doesn't sound very sanitary desu
>hurensohn
Unhöflich >:c
you are wrong and you know it.
this way of doing dips is much better for your core.
>bench dips better for core
You have no idea what you're talking about
do you even own core?
You can get a deep push up that feels similar to benching from doing pushups on the bar instead of the ground.
I think so yes
fucking stop this bodyweight meme and go to gym... lift heavy and eat proper meals... and don't you fucking dare to start with "i don't have money" excuse... we all know it's because you are social awkward as fuck and you never gonna make it anyway...
>fucking stop this bodyweight meme
Have it ever crossed your mind that some of us do calisthenics because we like it?
>it's because you are social awkward as fuck
Still a fair assessment nonetheless
>I finally want to get laid
I don't think OP wants to do it because he likes it
Oh right I was referring to the method of training in general. Working out to get laid is pretty retarded regardless of the path you take
Sounds good. I can do that for the next 8 weeks. Then I'll move places after that. Thanks.
Das für Dips benutzen... Ich benutze deine Mutter für Dips, du Stück Dreck
I won't go to a gym. I just want to get fit a bit
>dips is much better for your core
Dips for your core...
Not doing ring support,
Not doing rto dips.
You're never going to make it bruv.

I keep hearing that beginners shouldn't/can't do ring dips. Is that true? Will pull-up bands help?
