Some time ago I got really into lentils. I bought all these different varieties and started eating them everyday as a side to meat or on their own. I went a few weeks this way and suddenly I couldn't bring myself to look at them anymore. Haven't cooked lentils ever since, it's been like 2 months. It's a shame because they are so cheap and good

Marinated baked chicken, I don't get bored of eating it, but I could get bored of preparing it. Also liver with onions(not soi, actually onions).
That's mostly fats, not sure that even counts as protein rich.
You can do alot with steak. Eat in bread like burger, with some rice, with some sauce.

Maybe in America, but in the EU we actually have standards.
Brine it first. Then get a spice mixture you like, mix it with olive oil and add it to a large plastic bag with the chicken in it. Remove as much air from the bag and seal. Shake it up, toss it around, emulsify the chicken until its thoroughly coated by this.
Then toss it in the fridge and let it sit there overnight. Next day, take it out and let it warm up for 20-25 minutes. Then grill it, sear it, pan fry it, bake it, chop it up and mix it in with something else; the possibilities are endless.
This method will consistently get you the best and most delicious form of chicken.
