What can I drink to make me poop more easily

Are there any stoicism threads anywhere on Jow Forums? Like /sig/, etc.

Eat fiber, drink water

>use deadlift grip
>use bench press grip
>use grip that allows 90 degree back angle

>cheating is fine on last reps
>no cheating
>cheating is fine up to 15 degree back angle

So, what IS the best way to perform a barbell row?

Is there anything wrong with doing a program where a week looks like this:

>Full Body Workout
>Rest
>Pull
>Push
>Legs
>Rest
>Rest

I want to hit each major lift twice a week, but I would prefer not to workout 6 days a week.

do any of yall use CBD? my shithead stoner friends swear by it after workouts

Just watch this
m.youtube.com/watch?v=T3N-TO4reLQ

I am considering hiring an escort. Any fitizens done so? Should I go for a hottie in an area I don't know or a milf in an area I do know?

how do I make green tea not taste awful? currently adding honey which helps but after the first couple swigs it tastes horrid again, think the honey floats on top

How much should I be feeling my front delts during CG bench? Recently added it as a tricep accessory having never done it before and it hit my delts way harder than I expected.
I think /sig/ got banned, I could be wrong
It's expensive to take a non-placebo dose after every workout, but go for it. Not really any risk.
>each major lift twice a week
>not 6 days a week
GZCLP or 531 BBB (Less Boring Version), or literally any other 4 day program that does 2 compounds a day.
You could do what you described but doing all 4 compounds in one day sounds pretty wack.

10 mg laxative every 3 days

cbd after workouts is great for taking care of soreness but i would only use it after a late night workout when i don’t have anything else to do, it can shoot the rest of your day.

Does anybody feel like hobbies are just distractions from your "true purpose"? I want to have hobbies and lead an interesting life, but I end up feeling lost, dissatisfied, and as if I'm just checking off boxes. Conversely, I want to put all my chips into one or three priorities and do them at a very high level, but I'm concerned about boredom and not having things to talk about during conversation. have any of you guys dealt with this dilemma? right now I'm paralyzed with indecision

Drink it while its hot. Tastes ghastly otherwise

Just bee yourself

i think that's not honey

I'm pretty sure the item labelled and sold as honey in a big chain store is honey lad

i don't think honey floats to the top of water as you say.

/sig/ has moved to Jow Forums since then.

nigga is buying counterfeit 'honey' lmao

Follow your instincts. If those 3 priorities give you the purpose and drive that you need, stick with em. Hobbies are a good way to relax in between these priorities, when you need a break.

I assume it's floating on top since the drink starts nice then gets worse
the further down you get might not be I'm just guessing can't wait to sue the largest supermarket chain in the UK for false advertising lmao

>doing all 4 compounds in one day sounds pretty wack.
Why? I’m already doing 3 of them in one day because I’m on 5x5

saquon barkley is like a top 3 athlete in the NFL and still young (22) but he straight up has gyno. how is that even possible

Is there a difference between OHP and Seated Dumbbell Press?
Does it make sense to do both in one workout?
Like 4x5 OHP and 2x8 or 3x8 Seated Dumbbell Press later.

Advice much appreciated

I did single handed standing dumbbell press and barbell ohp after that today. At the least I can say I survived it.

If I'm not pouring with sweat after lifting am I doing it wrong?

how shit you might actually be right, how can companies actually sell it though must be some gay loophole found this as well, i'll test my honey in 5 mins

How is ginger for a supplement? What are the benefits? Do you have to eat it or is tea fine?

Beeware of the BIG BEE. Know what you eat!

1. Follow a program

2. No, if you did everything on the program it's fine some days I don't break a sweat doing OHP while on squat day I'll be pouring

Yeah, and 3 is already pushing it, that's why it's a beginner program for people still getting most of their gains from neural adaptation.
Like I said, GZCLP matches what you want.

Jow Forums I have been eating chicken breast every single day and occasional chicken drumsticks with my dinner,

I just bought hamburger meat (80/20) and some pork to add variety I do not like turkey for some reason, and I am a fatty that has no motivation to go to the gym, am I fucked for eating hamburger meat and pork more often now?

>I am a fatty that has no motivation to go to the gym
why are you even here?

>squat max is 5lb short of my deadlift max
What's more likely, my legs are just stronger than the rest of my body or I'm just not going hard enough on diddlies?

prbly not even close to parallel

Count your calories, fatty.
Pro-tip: Fuck chicken breast. Buy a sous vide to cook perfect juicy chicken thighs with the macros of a protein shake.

I did bent over row with bad form 3 days ago the next morning my left lat feel like when you feel like cracking your back but it not my spine it me left lat. Today I did it again but with the safety bar so I won't have to pick it up off the ground but the pain felt worse half way through the set. How do I stretch my lat? it really does it feel like it need to be stretched and poped.

>lat
>popped
If you want to heal go to a physio, if you want to feel better and be permanently damaged go to a chiropractor.

just to be in the /fat/ threads.

somebody pls respond Q_Q

OHP brings your core and more other muscles into it because you need to stabilize your trunk to hold the weight overhead. In a seated db press the back of the bench stabilizes your core, so its less of a full body lift and more of a pure shoulder isolation.

Doing fine is cool and the rep scheme is a good one. Maybe even go higher reps on the seated though.

/fat/ is like SS, if you're there forever you're doing it wrong

thanks

Unparalyze yourself - what you describe is in essence what adulthood is all about.

Just don't forget that at the end of the day life is made most meaningful by the relationships you have - family, friends, wife, children, etc. Don't neglect your relationships for other goals.

what happens there? I'm too afraid to go there

Protein: how long after the gym is too long? I've read some protein bottles say they recommend spacing it out throughout the day, and don't recommend taking more than 1 portion a day. Is this valid or can you take more than one portion, maybe in a single sitting?

I watched the video, but I didn't like the way he explained how to row. Instead of a pendlay row, he favored something similar to a yates row.
This video struck home though: youtube.com/watch?v=6JVSjte9F-M
- take a deadlift stance (hip width, feet slightly rotated outward)
- take a grip width where the pinky is next to the first knurl mark (not between the knurl marks)
- some change in back angle is allowed

look at the top of his head!

If you mean scoops when you say portion then yes you can have it in one setting 1,2,3,4 scoops it doesn't matter. It is recommended to drink it through out the day but most people drink it in one go. Yes it safe to do so

Old guys bald, what about it?

how is this a back exercise? they just lift it like diddly and then punch it with belly before it drops.

I mean, if you don't mind if you can evaluate what im eating. I know its not the healthiest, but its not the worst I guess?

Breakfast usually consist of
40g of oatmeal
100-130g banana
32g of creamy peanut butter
and I mix it all in together.

Lunch
80g-120g white chicken breast, plain, sometimes Louisiana hot sauce
12oz mountain dew can
30g whole grain gold fish

Dinner:
campbells healthy option soup (varies, corn chowder or sirloin burger)
uncle bens instant rice, varies, spanish rice, brown rice (ill dump it in my soup so I don't completely hate it)
2-3 chicken drumsticks (300 - 350g or so, this is after I weight the bones once im done eating to get the actual weight of the meat.)
12oz can of soda, 3 cups of water

snacks: (not all of them, one of them to keep a variety, just one serving)
light butter popcorn
or gold fish
yaas greek yogurt ice cream bar

we usually confess, sometimes good sometimes bad, we try to motivate outselves saying were gonna make it, and help each other out. I managed to stop eating a whole pizza every weekend, it wasn't even a craving I had, so I had no problem breaking that off.

But chips, those were my trigger foods, I would love to eat dorito chips and drink cans of soda a day.

But i don't eat dorito chips anymore. I'll have tortilla chips with salsa once in a blue moon now, but not daily. Oh man it was bad. I would have 10 empty dorito bags in my bedroom in 4 days and 4 empty 12 packs boxes of mountain dew.

What's a good Olympic weightlifting routine for a beginner and a good smartphone app to keep track of it?

Currently stuck at Stronglifts 5x5, wanna add some oly lifts for a change.

Attached: great_guy.png (321x310, 98K)

read Greg Everett

Not really, they don't drop their hip like they would in a deadlift.

oh please, that would've been image response no matter how healthy I was eating, just to be a troll. Look where we are.

Psyllium fiber. It's cheap and you can add it to shakes or just use a little bit by itself.

Attached: 1554134503418.jpg (680x626, 49K)

keep it up buddy, drop the soda and the other shit and one day ur gonna make it

What other shit are you referring to?

peanut butter, gold fish, soup before dinner, butter popcorn, greek yoghurt

>gold fish
Are you Chinese?

I drink a shit load of water, eat fibre rich foods, everything, but I hardly ever shit. I've had awful gas and pressure for a week but almost no poop. Am I dying? Should I blast water up my ass?

Peanut butter? I didn't think it was that bad. Soup is actually my dinner with the chicken drumsticks. Greek yogurt I can get rid of, popcorn? meh I guess.

goldfish crackers? Its just crackers.

Tobacco spit.

Skinnyfat b o i here. Can I begin doing SS whilst cutting? Will I progress, but at a reduced speed?

Also, when doing SS, rather than alternating, would it be alright to do bench press and shoulder press every workout? New to lifting, and everything seems to suggest that SS is too lower-body focused.

Yyou want to lose weight, you eat less.
Peanut butter on top of the other stuff you eat for breakfast? 250kcal you dont want
Soup before your chicken? More kcal you dont want, doesnt matter how healthy it is.
Every other snack, especially buttered popcorn, literally an obstacle you throw in your own way to lose weight

More than being safe, is it efficient? Or does some protein go to waste?

I'm stalling on grayskull after a few months now, but my lifts are still wimpy. 80/110/140/160(lb). Should I just keep on it or try a different routine?

Also, I'm doing my accesory lifts on my rest days, is this fine? Too nervous not to do something on off days.

Attached: IMG_20190707_232456.jpg (480x734, 208K)

yes, you can do it while cutting. You might stall earlier though.
Keep OHP and bench on seperate days but do the recommended accessories: Dips on bench day, alternate chinups and pullups on OHP days, and like 3 sets of bicep and tricep exercises on the "friday" workout

>does some protein go to waste?
no this is a meme

before you switch to another program try doing accessories on the workout days and actually taking rest days. If you feel like you have to be doing something on rest days do some light LISS cardio and stretching

when doing rows/lat pulldowns/pullups, i don't really feel my lats doing anything. am i doing the lifts incorrectly?

I can remove the soup since I think its the reason why im getting the shits anyways.

Peanut butter, Im going to keep, 250kcal. myfitnesspal gives me 2.8k calories based on my info I gave them, I still stay 400-600 calories below my limit. Even after autistically count my calories.

Rest days are for rest my friend. Do some stretching. Don't stress. You won't keep stalling.

>Don’t life for 4 days
>Weaker in every single lift

I seriously doubt I lost any significant amount of muscle mass in that time, and I also felt fully recovered and ready to go, so what could be the source of the problem? Where I was able to 5x5 squat 235 lbs with relative ease last time, I did 3 sets of 5 at 225 lbs today before stopping because I felt like I was fucking dying. I’ve only been lifting a few months, but I’ve never had a day where I’ve felt this off.

Are seated cable rows a compound or isolation movement?

Sometimes, as you said yourself, you just feel really off and lifts go sub-par. Just brush it off and don’t overthink it, odds are that it was just an anomaly.

How many total sets should be done in a workout?

Is it more important to increase my weight with squats even if I cant go below parallel at that weight or continue to work at a weight where I can go atg? My friend keeps giving me shit for staying at a lower squat, but does anything over 2.5pl8 he barely makes parallel which I think looks ridiculous. At 3.5pl8 he only does parallel about half his reps.

Form > Weight. Keep your focus on hitting parallel rather than bumping up weight for shit depth.

Why do people ask for body fat estimates? What do they do with that information?

I really like the 5/3/1 for bodybuilders routine

It's 4 days and each day focuses on a compound lift and after you add accessories I believe. However I don't want to do 5/3/1 or low rep ranges, could I switch 5/3/1 out for high rep compounds?

Thanks, is atg nessicary (it's what my natural inclination was from day 1) or am I being a fag and reaching parallel is adequate?

Fugggg I hate the thought of not being able to eat as much on a given day because it's labeled as a rest day, feels so wasteful to only lift things every other day. Alright, I might just continue spinning my wheels if I don't follow this advice, I'll try it out. Thanks bros.

Attached: JUSAHc.jpg (385x643, 43K)

Know whether they should continue cutting or start bulking, or vice versa

parallel is okay but if you have the mobility to go ATG then continue

What's the dumbbell equivalent to 2pl8 bench?

Attached: 7a4b799c3bff8d63.jpg (225x225, 13K)

How long are you supposed to rest? I'm currently doing the Greyskull LP and I rest 2-3 minutes between sets.

Normally the formula conversion from DB to BB is: 2xDB+~30lbs
The formula for 2pl8 BB to DB would be (225-30)/2= 97.5lbs

Heavy compound lifts rest is optimally 3-5 mins

So how long should I rest between the accesory lifts like the curls?

Eh, 1-2 min is usually enough. Just go when you feel ready.

Hey guys, I train kickboxing 2 hours a day 6 days a week. I have a background in BB and PL so I'm not a beginner in the gym, what would be a good routine to go along my kickboxing

Barbell rows vs dumbbell rows. If you had to pick one and only one, which one and why?

I only do DB bent over rows because I'm a pussy and afraid of fucking up my back, but apparently Jim Wendler recommends them over barbell rows anyways.

What is a brosplit?

You got the wrong hobbies.
You shouldn't distract yourself with arbitrary things user, you should embrace your passions. If you have none, make them or find them.

I run 531 Boring But Big. I'm not sure if my deadlift would benefit from the reduced lower back strain from dumbbell rows... or if barbell rows (pendlay rows really) are strengthening my lower back from support and helping them.
