How many days will it take me to run 5 miles daily?

How many days will it take me to run 5 miles daily?
that couch to 5k shit doesn't work

It doesn't work because you don't feel like putting the effort required in. NGMI

nah it doesn't work i tried it

You haven't tried hard enough then

idk, when do you want to run 5 miles?

nah it's a bad program
there are better programs for running

Then why aren't you using those.

i am but i need to know how long it'll take me to run 5 miles
i can't run 5 miles man my feet will hurt
i can do 3 miles though

sound like you're just complaining
you can run 5 miles if you want, and if you are consistent then you can do it faster overtime. you don't necessarily need to do 5 miles straight, break it up into 2.5 morning and night

There a big difference between 5k and 5 miles run. Why do even want to run 5 miles?

cause 5 miles is a milestone man

what's the least amount of miles you say you run to impress people?

5 miles.

>Running to impress other people
Never gonna make it

>social environment has no contribution to mental health benefits
t. brainlet

Bro if you just want to impress someone say you can run 5 miles thats it
they're not gonna check you

what if they wanna go for a run with me?

5k since most people can't run this distance without preparations. Or 10k to impress people without going into autism distances.

Good time on 1k and 3 kg is all you need in life, since people can actually compare your time with theirs.

if you want to run with your crush then just go and train harder
you should be able to run 5k completely unprepared if you'd suck up the discomfort and stop being a little bitch

>social environment has no contribution to mental health benefits
Didn't say that. Still it's a dumb goal. I've impressed plenty of people and my mental health is in the trash

>a goal is dumb
one of the most close-minded things you can say

I actually recommend running with a chick who is a good runner. Assuming you're not completely pathetic, running with a girl will give you that edge you need to go over the cliff.

Well it might sound so to you. Speaking from experience though doing things in order to impress others is not really worth it (but I guess it depends on what you're going for)

for me it took 2 weeks to go from 2km to 13km.

But before that i would sporadically try to run a bit mybe a couple of times a year. My problem was that i would try to run too fast. Then i would get tired and have to walk etc. Also i had a pussy ass mentality.

Then i just tried to run in a more sustainable pace, found a much better gait, and since then i have been becoming a bit faster every run.

Also i am a 105kg 191cm fat guy.

It is all about mentality and running technique

It wont take long. Just run. Getting good at running distance means turning off your thinking brain and turning on your lizard brain. IE stop thinking about how bad you're sucking and focusing on the repetitive 'left right left right' of your feet. Return when you can get 5 miles in under 40 mins.

If you're following a plan it should tell you when you can reach 5 miles...

But ifyouc an run 3 or 4 it's not too hard to push it to 5 if you keep it slow enough.

why would you want to run 5 miles its pointless

Honestly you are a bitch if you don't run another longer than a marathon over mountainous terrain with elevation climbing.

Dead srs, everyone and their dog has ran a least a marathon who had tried seriously for like 1 year.

honestly just fucking nut up and run it
as long as you arent a fat loser, its extremely easy

>he runs for people
Christ, OP, they'll never care about you or be good enough, run for her and always have her approval.

>progressive overload doesn't work
>slime posting
oh no nono

Go slower, senpai. go slow enough to think you're wasting your time. You will hit 5 miles. from there increase your speed every once in a while.

Not sure where to ask this but is it common to see a little bit of blood in your urine after a really hard few days of long distance running?
